Nearly the same price ($60 blowout), easy to get an appointment, significantly better products - its a no brainer. Ive been coming to La Magie for a long while now, and they are absolutely consistent. Booking: Easy to book appointments online or texting Jay the owner Parking: Free street parking, paid lot in the back They have wifi, snacks, water/coffee/tea, a comfortable waiting area Most importantly, I trust a salon that uses Milbon products - especially because its impossible to buy from a store. Every single time Ive been here, in a good mood or bad, I just think "man this is what a perfect salon feels like" - which sounds like a sponsored review, but once you realize every single aspect is so well thought out, youll realize its true.

5 /5 Michelle Wong: Ive been going to La Magie to get my hair cut and colored by Claire for the past 3+ years. Claire is very professional and I love her style and honesty. Every time I come to get my hair done, she always provides me a honest opinion about what would be best for my hair type, maintenance and look. She doesnt take offense if you disagree with her or want a specific cut. I think thats where professionalism is really important because at the end of the day, both sides want to be happy and build a relationship of trust. The service here is amazing. Claire and her team always offer snacks, water and even mimosa to add to your relaxation. The hot towel after a wash is a bliss. Booking an appointment is easy because you can book on their website and choose the service you want.

5 /5 Belen Tellez: I went in recently for the first time and got the deep conditioning treatment done. Meilan did my hair and I wasnt sure how it was going to turn out, but I loved my hair at the end. My hair felt super soft and it had not been this soft in a very long time. The whole experience was very relaxing as well. Will come again to get the same treatment done.

5 /5 Audrey Lewis: Ive come to Claire twice now for both a spiral perm and a digital perm and have been very happy with both. Claire is a true expert and knows her craft in and out. She is very detailed oriented and tries to accomplish your vision for your hair. Very pleased with my digital perm and will most likely be getting these done in the future.

5 /5 Xandra Correa: Why I chose this salon: I looked at dozens of salons and their yelp pages as well as their website. This was the only higher end salon I found that I felt wasnt focusing on being trendy or hip. Some of the other salons were too overwhelming for me because Im someone who likes a calm and professional environment. I dont want to feel intimidated before I even get to the salon, lol. Idk if that makes sense, but this salon promoted the most professional business model. Trust me, Im kinda OCD so I did my RESEARCH. Booking: The way the website is set up makes it super easy to book an appointment. So streamlined. The atmosphere/experience: if its a busier time of the day, they will have an assistant shampoo you and give you a lovely head message. They offer loads of beverages and snacks. Super nice staff and just really aware of their clients needs. I saw a woman come in for coloring, and she was working on her laptop, and a staff member brought her a pillow so she could prop her laptop up. Little touches like that. Its very clear that the owner cares about acute thoughtful touches. The haircut/stylist: I can not express into words how grateful I am that I booked with Grace. Idk where to start! She is an extremely intelligent stylist and has applied critical thought to each cut Ive received. From listening to your needs and giving you feedback on what cut may work for you and why. From the moment I sat down and had a few minutes with her, I knew I was in good hands. I also love that she is kind but does not try to force a conversation. She is 100% focused on what she is doing. She is fast, too. Each time Ive gone, I was out in about 40 minutes and never in the slightest felt rushed. I am very grateful that I found a stylist that I feel safe getting any cut from. It made it easy to feel confident getting a short bob! 100% 10/10 experience.
