    Sandy Gutierrez: 5/22/24 I was shopping around looking for something more affordable to replace my ac compressor on my Mazda. I came across this business upon some google searches and ultimately the reviews led me to believe I could trust this place. We gave them a call they quoted us a reasonable price and were told it would be done in about 3 hours. We dropped our car off Monday night since we have kids and other commitments we wouldn’t be able to take it in the following morning. We expected the car to be done at least by the end of the day. Towards 3 o’clock we contacted the business to see how much longer it would be and they informed us they were still working on it, to call back towards closing time. We did just that, just for them to tell us the car still wasn’t done. The following day, which is today, Wednesday. We contacted the business around 10 am and were told it should be done by 1 o clock. We show up at 230 pm and they notify us that it was still going to be about an hour and that the car was still blowing hot air so they checked the cabin filter and that needs to be replaced. Ok. They contact us to let us know the car is ready, to our surprise, after they took payment they notify us that oh yea the valve cover gasket and the serpentine belt needs to be replaced. NO ONE from Tuesday-Wednesday contacted us or the times we called was this mentioned at any point in time that this was also something they discovered until the car was finally back in our possession. It’s upsetting especially when we were told a certain time frame where we adjusted our schedules to accommodate the last two days when we were originally given a completely different time frame. Now I understand that things happen and something came up, a courtesy call would’ve sufficed to mention a different time and the discovery. We were told they were going to send us a quote to see what the price would look like to change the new things they mentioned to us. With our experience I doubt we will return. We’re currently still waiting for that said quote…

    David Matteson: Do not use i had to go get my truck back after it was promised to be done three weeks prior when i got it back looked like a cop shop had it. He doesn’t pay his guys that he doesn’t tell you works for him. He works on a bunch of cars that he doesn’t know as he told me he didn’t know my truck that someone else took it apart and lost a bunch of bolts. Now have somebody else doing the repair who is even said this guy didn’t have a clue and should not be working on cars. My truck came back with lots of new dents. Scratches all the way down to the metal missing parts worst mechanic ever.

    Rebecca Lewis: I took my truck to a local dealership because my brakes were going. They quoted me a ridiculous price so I called McWilliams and Walden and their quote was fair. When I took my truck in the office was clean and tidy and smelled really good. The staff was amazing. Even though there were several customers waiting, we didnt have to wait long and the staff always reassured us that they would be right with us. They were up front with pricing and explained everything to me. I dropped my truck off in the morning and by early afternoon they were calling to let me know it was ready to be picked up. On top of having my brakes replaced I also had an oil change done and the price was a fraction of what it would have cost me at one of the local dealerships. I definitely recommend McWilliams and Walden for all of your vehicle needs. I know I will be using them from now on.

We were stuck with a flashing engine light on our way home to Souther CA from Yosemite and were lucky to get stuck near his shop. He was honest and provided a simple solution for which I think other shops may have easily taken advantage of us in our situation.

    S Rami: I waited 2 weeks for a diagnostic appt. I was the only customer there. The young mechanic was rude, but hey, its early in the morning, maybe not a morning person. The manager Janelle came in about 835am. and asked if I was leaving my car, I said no. Instant attitude from the mechanic and her. The mechanic took 40 minutes to diagnose my vehicle. He didnt enter the data in the computer, he hand wrote it. Janelle had a question about his diagnosis, but unfortunately, he was in the restroom and wasnt coming out. She asked me to leave, and she would call me with the information. I had to pay my $165.00. I waited 2 days and called back, and asked what was going on. I havre heard from you all. Janelle got pissy because I was bothering them... LOL...long story short. I got a written estimate with fancy writing that I cant read...LOL... no diagnose codes, and my car idling had been pumped up. I had to lower it again. They didnt accept responsibility for doing that. Bad service from the get-go .
