As an adult I truly dislike the dentist so I was nervous taking my 14month old to her first appointment but it was a delight. Hannah and Dr. Franklin were so kind and even sang Wheels on the Bus to my daughter as they brushed her teeth. Everything is geared to kids and they are so patient. I am really happy to have picked such a great kids dentist my first try. I am looking forward to the years to come with this team.

5 /5 Rosario Becerra: This is our new favorite pediatric dentistry! When we arrived, my daughter noticed right away her name written on the glass door. It made her feel special! I brought my 15 month old while her older sister had work done. It’s super kid/baby friendly - toys everywhere to keep your littles busy. At todays appointment, she got her tooth “wiggled out” and didn’t even realize when it happened. She also got a few sealants done at the same time. They really know what they’re doing all while making sure to work productively. I have an appointment for my oldest and will be making an appointment for my 15 month old soon! Highly recommend!

5 /5 Brea Vanderheyden: I couldnt ask for anything more for my daughters from Redwood Pediatric Dentistry. Everyone is upbeat, very supportive of the kids, and their technology is amazing. The office is gorgeous and Dr. Franklin is very kind and thoughtful. The kids leave with a goodie bag and a prize and on their birthdays they were given stuffed animals!worth the drive and the time.

Zoe Smith: My dentist Jessica and hygienist, Linda are wonderful. However, the owner has changed the insurance offered by the practice in such a way that I will be leaving Total Health. Years ago, their insurance program cost $350 per year, then it took a leap to $600 per year, but gave us the option of paying monthly which I did for years. Now there is no monthly option and paying $600 at once is a financial hardship for me. Long time patients have to pay the full $600 to renew their yearly policy and new patients have to pay for four years in full. There are so many "what ifs" in peoples lives that this policy is greedy and unfair. What if a patient dies one year in? What if they lose their job and have to move? What if they simply want to change dentists? So I will be looking for a new dentist now. But, as I said, Jessica and Linda are great and I will really miss them.

Stefanie Rae Arizabal: I came for a cleaning with a 9:30 appointment, and spent almost 3 hours there. I got called for X-rays 45 minutes in, and after was put in a chair and told I’d be seen soon, only to wait another hour for my exam. The exam took about 5 minutes. I had to ask to have a cleaning (they were going to have me schedule another appointment). I waited another 30 minutes for the cleaning. I really liked the dentist that did my cleaning, but there was no advanced warning of their short staff or long wait times, and when I asked why I had been waiting an hour and a half to be seen I was told I could reschedule if I wanted. The staff is nice but there should have been more transparency and upfront about the wait because I would not have willingly waited that long had I known. The dentist does his job well, but the lack of communication and respect for customer timing was disappointing. I had to sign forms saying if I’m 15 minutes late my appointment can be cancelled, yet was subjected to that amount of waiting. I have since read reviews that others experienced similar wait times. Seems like this place is a hit or miss.

Casburn Spencer: I had a tremendous pre-crown experience here. This office runs like clockwork with an impressive team experience. They had me on the dentists chair in a short time. Within minutes, my teeth were diagnosed. The dentist took her time to explain my options. There was an issue with my insurance, so they called the company for a resolution. The second visit was as impressive as the first. Things were done in a clockwork-type manner, with each step explained. All my questions were answered by Dr Kay and her assistant. I had temporary front teeth in while my crowns were made. The results were amazing. My front teeth were broken when I was a child, and Ive had lots of work done to them over the years. Never have i had so much comfort and pleasure in the results. They deserve more stars.

Thank you for making a generally tough and painful experience comfortable. This morning I woke up with no pain. Unbelievable! She did a deep cleaning and when I say she got everything..... I mean she got everything! She is razor focused yet maintains a very kind and sensitive demeanor. I loved the total experience at the Dental Office. And the Music choice is great as well...smiling with clean teeth.

Scott Yu: I had a small dental procedure done in May by this Dentist in Oakland, first I had to pay $415 co-pay upfront, and the insurance should cover the rest, he assured me that won’t be anymore out of pocket cost, and if the insurance covers more, he will refund the difference. Now the work is done, insurance paid the claim, and he wanted me to pay additional co-pay. Apparently he low-ball the co-pay to lure me into doing the procedure. BE AWARE OF THIS DISHONEST DENTIST.
