5 /5 Megan Nantel: I had such a lovely time at Pursuit Salon. My stylist Lauren was kind, efficient, and great at doing highlights on my hair. She gave me advice about what colours would suit my hair, given my history. She also taught me about what shampoos would be good for my hair. All the employees seemed really respectful to each other and their clients, which was lovely to see!

I really appreciated the time, sincerity, and care Lauren took to style my hair. I would recommend Lauren (and Pursuit Salon as a whole) to anyone looking for committed, sincere, and talented colorists.

5 /5 Miriam Cortes: My haircut with Macey wonderful! Shes great at small talk and making me feel comfortable as someone who is new to this salon, as well as obviously skilled and didnt make me feel bad when I kept asking her to start my layers shorter. I also appreciated that she didnt hard-sell me on extra product but when I asked about certain things shed offer info and explain how I could add it to my process at home. Ill be real, this is the most Ive ever paid for a haircut (and can be twice as much as youd pay somewhere else), but I never felt that it was overpriced or like I was being up-sold things I didnt actually want. Ill definitely be returning!

2 /5 Erika Weidner: The young woman who cut my hair was lovely. She did a decent job. But I don’t know how these salons that give pretty mediocre haircuts get away with charging $160 for a very basic cut. I wanted a style. Layers. Heaviness taken out. She trimmed it up nicely but barely changed anything. I am happy to pay $160 for a bold and innovative cut. It seems like the standard in the Bay Area is now outrageous amounts of money for basic services. Oh and make sure you tip a crazy amount too. 20% of whatever that crazy amount is.
