- Galaxy Nail Salon - Oakland Melisa Knapp: Kim and her very kind and accommodating staff are the BEST in Oakland!! They do an excellent job with pedicures, manicures, gel polish, acrylic, everything is done right. Ive been a client for 21 years and will continue for another 21!
- Oakland Nails & Beauty Supply - Oakland Domilyn Mitchell: I found this place by accident while in the neighborhood visiting a friend and is now my #1 choice for anything nail related. They have everything you could possibly need - nail Dremel bits, great selection of dip powders/gel polishes and sculpted nails supplies. The sales woman that helped me was charming and extremely helpful. The location is in the middle of what some might consider a high-risk area, but hey its Oakland. Its not for everyone. For those of you willing to make the trip just remember to lick your car and make sure that nothings visible from the outside, or better yet??! Leave everything at home that you cant easily carry with you into the store. Simple as that.

I love supporting local businesses and if you’ve been searching like I have, you know how difficult it is to find a place to trust to have your best interests in mind especially when it comes to your skin. I booked with Kathy after asking her how her skin is so beautiful and glowing! Turns out she works at this wonderful place. From the booking, to the day of the appointment, and all throughout the service, Kathy was thorough, took her time and you just know that you’re in great hands. You can tell she is passionate about skin care and will get you to where you want your skin to be. She listened to all my worries and goals and gave me the confidence to get me started on my skincare journey. I understand that coming to see her is just part of the journey and I have to uphold my end of consistent care in order for her methods to work for me. I really enjoyed starting with the hydrodermabrasion service especially the fact that you can see what was extracted from your skin and if you’re cleaning your skin well (or not). I felt so relaxed throughout and definitely fell asleep. Kathy was so sweet and has great intuition if I’m comfortable or not without me having to talk too much but she was also so easy to talk to if I did have anything I wanted to talk about. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

As expected closer to weekend/Valentines Holiday to be busy; I was brought to a chair the minute I walked in. No appointment set up this time, I chose a simple New Acrylic Set & French Toes both Gel. Everything was within reasonable price for the service provided. Staff is very friendly and enjoyed my time with each visit.
- Jas Nail Spa - Union City Julia Patel: Hands down one of the best nail salons I’ve been to! I used to get acrylic extensions because my nails were always weak and I couldn’t grow them out, but my nail tech was able to bring up the health of my nails so I can just wear hard gel on my actual nails. They do such a good job here and they even provide hot tea or water when I’m there. The prices are really good and the people are super sweet!
- Salon Du Monde - Fremont Sabrina Vogeley: My favorite nail salon in the area! I come here every 2-3 weeks for gel fills. Prices are very reasonable and the nail techs all do quality work, including intricate nail art. It can get busy on weekends, but well worth the wait!
- Tiktok Lounge - Milpitas Divya B: Tony did an amazing job with my cat eye nails! The color shift is stunning, and the finish is absolutely flawless. He was super detail-oriented, took his time to make sure everything was perfect, and made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable.
