5 /5 Miggy Mouse: Really enjoyed my stay at Patton. I Met really interesting people, and the food was amazing. Checkout the new pool they just built, perfect place during the hot summer months.

3 /5 Caino the Concerned Citizen: To visit an inmate, file the appropriate paperwork with the Patton State police (mail it in) for a "background check" and you can go in to see your loved one on Sundays. I know, Ive been there. I recommend minimizing interactions with staff as they are "high-strung," ignorant people. Dont do it. Must be court ordered to be there so District Attorneys office (DA) and public defender/private attorneys are useless. According to my brother the "counselors," doctors and those in training dont genuinely care (less interested then DMV employees) spending a better part of their shifts gossiping about personal nonsense and out of sight in their "offices." Apparently they document progress made for the court going so far as to put their thoughts/expert opinions.. According to the states website, the ratio of employees to patients/inmates is insane. Its like a small base employing the surrounding areas.. At least they dont do lobotomies anymore.

1 /5 Anthony Espinoza: You cant run a state hospital with staff who come to work high and talks about how they get drunk and etc. I was in eb-02 staff there have no respect for the job or the people. Its so sad because a lot of them are really sick and have no.idea whats going on and the staff they always talk down to the patient even the social workers like come on now do you really have to treat patients like that knowing your brain is working way better than yours? They should feel sorry for them self. But some staff really care for what they do. Allen RN is an outstanding guy much respect to him...
