04-2025 Orthopedic Program at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula in Best 12 MEDICAL SERVICES near Monterey, CA (Part 2)Monterey County Health Department - Salinas Thomas: This campground gave us sunlight after being on the grey coast for too long. The racetrack and mountaintop were unique. The campsites can be windy as there is little shelter from the wind. In the morning the fog had rolled in and it was cool but pretty. Its nice to get out of the grey but you still get coastal temperatures.
Natividad Medical Center - Salinas Texnia Stewart: I debated between 1 & 2 stars for this review. It was a 2 star review & Im downgrading it to 1 because the new hospital is scrambling to give my hubby the kind of care he shouldve had from the beginning at Natividad. My husband was in the hospital with multiple problems. I feel like much of his treatments were "do enough to get by" or just "give Tylenol" for example:They never bothered to even find out exactly what was causing him to run high fevers – over 100, 101+.
He also had a leg wound when he was admitted to ICU. They slapped a compression boot on him & until he was moved to a med-surg bed it wasnt looked at or monitored. When the med surge nurse removed the boot, there was a huge infection & were still dealing with it at the hospital we moved him to. If you or a family member want to come out of Natividad well & in 1 piece, DO NOT go to this place. Go to SVMH or CHOMP or some other area hospital if you value your life or the life of your lived one.
Doctors on Duty - Salinas Angela Dorado: I wish Dr. Luder has his own private practice. He was truly amazing. I haven’t had a doctor listen to me in a long time. He listened and he helped me. Unfortunately this was for a workman’s comp injury and Doctors on duty isn’t my preference for PCP. The women in the front are rude and ignorant. That’s likely why I won’t be going back as a regular.
Salinas Valley Health Medical Center - Salinas Maria Belman: Whoever working at the emergency room today. Sunday Dec.8th at 12:00 pm. You are contributing to the problem in the health care system. You and your rules over not being able to be with your loved ones in the room with them, it is the stupidest rule ever. And to top if off the manners and the condescending attitude from the front desk/tent/ whatever you want to call it. No empathy whatsoever. This hospital has been one of my least favorite but after today, you are at the bottom of them all.
Clinica de Salud del Valle de Salinas- Sanborn - Salinas Maco Lamar: I came here for my older sister’s appointment and she waited 30 minutes for them to cancel last minute. Unprofessional and bad service. I am never setting an APPOINTMENT EVER AGAIN!! DON’T EVER SET AN APPOINTMENT HERE!!
Salinas Valley PrimeCare Medical Group - Salinas Christina Yanez: Dr Lew is not a good doctor. He was no help to what so ever. He wouldnt take the time of day to sign off for power mobility chair that was necessary for my back surgery that will help me with comfort . Plus called me obese instead of helping me work on weight management. He shouldnt be in the medical field as a doctor. He didnt even check my urine for UTI. I ended up at er due to UTI today and stomach bacterial infection which could of been handled during visit today . Which he was very unprofessional for not taking his time with a disability that had needs.i refused to never see him again hope the new female doctor at prime are is more better and doesnt rush patients. Salinas Valley Health Specialty Clinic - Salinas Mitch. G: 3 weeks trying to get in touch with my pulmonologist for refills clearance for surgery pharmacy cannot contact supervisors dont pick up phones or call back it is utterly ridiculous for medical specialty clinic for these kind of medical needs..
Im so glad I havent had a an emergency respiratory issue the or would not be able to probably even access my medical records from this specialty group.
