5 /5 Julianna: Mike was an absolute delight to chat with, and gave my boyfriend a sick haircut. The shop was very clean and neat, and I loved that I got to pet his very sweet husky while I waited. He was really thoughtful and made sure my boyfriend was happy with the cut. The vibes were immaculate, and we are 100% coming back.

5 /5 Michael Sundman: Mike is great for kids cuts too. Took my little grems in for a trim and theres Mario Kart on the TV and gumballs for dessert. And if your kids dont behave, its a one chair shop so no need to worry about bothering other customers. Thanks Mike!

Usually, I go for the cheapest place around because, hey, how hard can a regular guys haircut be, right? Well, turns out, it makes a huge difference when you find the right barber. Ive seen the worst and now, hands down, the best barber shop in Eureka. This guy nailed it! I asked for a pretty standard cut, but he took it to the next level. Who knew a basic cut could look this good? Not only is the haircut spot on, but hes also a good guy – easy to talk to and professional. Made me feel relaxed. If youre looking for a top-notch cut without the fuss, this is the place.

Michael is the best barber not only in Humboldt, but the entire northern cali region. I went to the same barber in LA for 7 years until I moved to Eureka. I tried Michael out 2.5 years ago and now I see him at least once a month. Professional, highly skilled, and awesome vibes at the shop. Don’t even waste your time with anyone else. Book an appointment with Michael and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

5 /5 Josh Smith: Mike did a great job on my hair and beard. I hadnt cut my hair for a bit, so he had his work cut out for him. He made sure that I was comfortable with everything throughout the cut, so he didnt take too much off. Very nice, clean, simple, modern barber shop in old town Eureka. He offers haircuts, beard trims, skin fades, and straight-blade razor shaves. He used a straight-blade around the edges of my beard and temples, which I have never had done before; it gives a really fresh, clean feeling. I enjoyed our friendly banter and the fact that many of the neighbors say hi when they walk by; it makes for a very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. The air smells of the hair tonics and beard oils that he uses and is pleasantly inviting. I learned that his barber chair has a fun history to it, as well. I will definitely be scheduling another appointment.
