5 /5 Evelyn Ruscki: I recently visited with my cat who is 20 years old. I had a really fantastic experience from the moment I walked in the door with the front office, staff and the veterinarian. He was through, kind and spent a lot of time with me explaining what could have been going on with my cat. She is old and I really thought I was visiting to do her end of life visit. He and I agreed she was doing OK and perhaps some steroids might help as he suspected she had lymphoma. She’s doing great now her appetite is improved. Her diarrhea has stopped and I’m so grateful for the visit I had there.

2 /5 Sonia: Okay, today I have to post this review. Its 8:41am, and theyre supposed to be open at 8 am. The doors are locked, the lights are off, and no one is answering the phone. What sort of clinic doesnt open on time? There are four patients waiting outside, and all of us are wondering what to do!? One person is here to pick up their animal from boarding after a long holiday weekend, and no one is here. Id be so worried if I was in their shoes. The other thing is that although the vet is nice, Ive found that the front desk staff is unprofessional and rude. Im seriously considering switching to a different hospital after todays experience.

1 /5 Kelly Reeves: BEWARE!! This vet cares more about money than they do about the animals animals. Two of my dogs died in their care. One had a splenic mass rupture. I know this is a highly fatal condition, so I kind of accepted that her heart gave out under anesthesia. The other one had an abdominal obstruction. She supposedly did fine during the surgery, but according to this vet, she blew a blood clot the next day and died. However, Ive never been able to accept that and always felt there was something more to her death than what they told me. I had a huge vet bill from that, which I have been paying off gradually – as best I could. And late August, my beloved mother, who lived in Mississippi, was found dead in her home by the local police. While I was there dealing with her remains, home, and affairs, the people at this vet sent me a text asking me to pay my bill. I informed them that my mother had just been found dead in her home; I was in Mississippi and asked if I could contact them when I got back. Their response: "Thanks." REALLY???? No show of compassion or empathy!! All they wanted was their money. They didnt care that I was dealing with one of the most traumatic experiences of my life! When I got home, I needed to refill my 14-year-old pugs medication for her collapsed trachea. This vet said I needed to pay off my entire bill before they would provide the medication. So theyve allowed two of my dogs to die in their care and are now refusing care to a very old dog out of greed! When I explained again about my mothers passing, an expensive trip to Mississippi, legal and funeral costs again, they showed ZERO compassion or care. The icing on the cake is Clarissa, who works there, started stalking me on Facebook about payment. I understand I owe them money – money I dont believe I should be paying since I think that Hershey died due to negligence and not because of a blood clot. Furthermore, the complete lack of understanding, empathy, and professionalism during such an incredibly difficult time was disgraceful and appalling.

5 /5 Christie Manville: I have gone to North County Animal Hospital for 10 years now, the girls are all so nice, friendly & helpful. I did enjoy having Dr. John help me and my dog. He has great communication and understands my/our needs for my dogs. I highly recommend Dr. John, when he enters the exam room his calm demeanor was able to calm/relax the dogs. He is a great!

5 /5 Susan Pierce: We have brought all of our pets here since we moved to Paso 2 years ago. In 2 short years they have been with us through alot. From adopting our kitty to having to put our dog to rest. Compassion goes a long way here. The doctors are gentle and explain in details that are understandable. We will continue to use them as our primary family pet care. ❤️ Our thanks and appreciation to the doctors and staff.
