Kent Clawson: This place appears to just be a vanity project to the deceased, but I am just guessing since there is no signage to inform about anything. The monument itself is only modestly maintained and there is nothing special about it. Short answer: Just keep on going unless you need to stretch your legs or clean up car sick kids.

Sondra Pierre: What a great preservation of Modoc history in these walls. Only $2.00 entrance fee and SO much to see! Friendly docent and a huge diversity of items donated by locals. Definitely worth the visit.

Zavaruev Oleg “OZ”: I had an amazing time at Mammoth Lakes Ski Resort! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the slopes are perfectly maintained for all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced skier, there’s something for everyone. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the entire atmosphere felt welcoming and energetic. I especially loved the variety of runs and the quality of the snow. The resort is well-organized, with great amenities, restaurants, and lift access. Can’t wait to come back—highly recommended for a perfect winter getaway!

John Mendoza: Cool fissure but clearly whoever manages the place doesnt care. The fences around the walking path by the fissure has SIGNIFICANT portions down allowing anyone, especially a curious kid, potentially go right into the fissure. The maintenance is absolutely abysmal. There are no informational signs whatsoever. It looks like they started to make it ADA compliant and then changed their mind. It looks very neglected.

Kyle Chaidez: Steep hike from the campgound. Beautiful vistas. You can stop at the top of the canyon, dirt surf down, then spend an hour slipping and crawling your way back up. Or, just stay at the top of it, its pretty cool. Nice, short hike.

Joe Joe H: Nice little stop with wonderful views when youre in Mammoth Lakes. Parking is tight, though, with only 8 spaces I think. No bathrooms. You can drive up near the cabins to get a better view of the lake and the little foot bridge.

Camille Rios: The view here is beautiful and there are restrooms. There isnt much shade, but if you dont mind the sun its a nice spot to have a picnic.
