2 /5 Lanier Williams: I have been going to Oscars shop since 2021. He does great work on my Jeep. I had to bring my car back a few times for him to get the battery light off. He ended up fixing it and discounted for the multi trips. That was cool and why I am giving 2 stars. However, after servicing my BMW I am truly disappointed. 1.Thy told me they put oil dye in my car for leak detection and they did not. 2. Failed to mention my ac belt was not on when they were already replacing my water pump. (I ended up having to buy tools myself and put it in to get some cold air) 3. Did not even clear engine codes when returning the car to me. I had to go back inside and ask him to get the mechanic. I bought a UV light and have found nothing after my car has been leaking oil in my drive way... I called Oscar at the shop to confirm if they did . And Oscar told me they DID add oil dye on the phone. Not sure if he lied because I bought and added engine dye myself and saw results the next day. Its disappointing when I spend my hard earned money and Im feeling like my service was rushed/ or half a**.

Ajay Gandhi: This was my first time visiting this shop on 07/20/2021. Came is for a oil change. I arrived at the shop at 8am. Spoke to Daniel and he wrote up the work order and had my truck in his shop within a couple of minutes. About 20 minutes later the work was completed. I couldn’t have asked for an easier transaction! They have a customer waiting area that’s clean and comfortable (AC) with a few seats. I’ll definitely be making this my regular auto shop here in Riverside.

Cali: Extremely Disappointed Waste of Time and Money I brought my vehicle into Lpez Auto Repair with two clear issues: an exhaust leak caused by a stripped hole in the flange, and a non-working A/C system for which I had already purchased a new clutch and compressor. I explained everything in detail and was quoted $350 which felt high just for the exhaust issue, but I was willing to go forward because I needed the A/C fixed. Unfortunately, the experience was a complete letdown. For $165, all that was done was the installation of one bolt and the exhaust issue remains unresolved. Instead of repairing the stripped hole as I asked (either by drilling it out or re-threading), I was simply told what I already knew: the flange hole was stripped. Worse yet, the A/C clutch and compressor I provided were never even installed. No progress, no repair just the same diagnosis I had already given them when I dropped the car off. Yet I was still charged. This shop did the bare minimum and charged me for it. I left with the same problems I came in with and $165 lighter. I understand labor costs, but this was not labor. This felt like taking advantage of a customer who was upfront and desperate for working A/C. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone looking for honest or thorough automotive service.

Steve S: I called GT Imports Automotive after having multiple repairs done at another shop, and feeling like that shop after fixing the issue I brought my vehicle in for, would then cause something else to go wrong on my vehicle, causing me not to trust that repair shop. I called and spoke to Walter, and from the first conversation felt welcomed, he was professional, very helpful, answered any question and concerns I had, and was able to assist me in bringing my vehicle in within a couple days. Once I arrived at the shop, I again was greeted by Walter and other staff at GT Imports, and everyone made me feel like I was in good hands. They performed the repairs within the time frame they advised me of. They kept my car clean throughout the repairs, which is very important to me and nothing else has gone wrong on my car since. Which re assures me they are a mechanic shop I can trust to fix any issues I bring my vehicle in for, without creating new ones. Their professionalism, expertise on fixing the issue I brought my vehicle in for, (which was a several hours repair on completely replacing my A/C in my vehicle). Along with how clean they keep their shop, making my commute to and from their shop, by providing LYFT service because I live within a few miles of their shop. Thank you GT Imports for becoming a mechanic shop I can trust, a shop that everyone makes you feel welcomed and that you are in good hands whenever bringing your vehicle to them. They have now gained a permanent client with me!!!
