1 /5 Rory Iv: The reviews aren’t wrong, they’re very nice. But they are not fast. It was a Monday, and nowhere else had an appointment until Thursday. These guys had a Tuesday morning appointment and verified over the phone they’d look at it same day, so I made the annoying trek to San Rafael first thing in the morning. Well, when I got no word from them until Wednesday afternoon I gave them a call. “Oh he’s just looking at it right now, call back in an hour” they say. Infuriating regardless, but I got the sense if I hadn’t called they wouldn’t have even looked at it on Wednesday. The repair process moved at as leisurely a pace as the diagnostic process, with me always just happening to call right as they were finally starting to work on it after sitting on their hands for hours to days. There were some delays that weren’t their fault such as waiting for a part to come in, which I don’t hold against them, but their lack of communication or expediency outside of this was incredibly frustrating and massively inconvenienced me. I’d bet money if I had just waited until the Thursday appointment at another shop my car would have been done sooner.
