1 /5 Nancy: Report KPC to CFPB.
After several attempts of asking for my itemized bill (over a course of a year) through Daisy Soto who played multiple games like asking me to fill out forms, provide my ID, they sold “my” debt to PMS.
PMS finally provided my itemized bill, only for me to discover that they inflated their costs based on the NRV I downloaded from their website. In addition, they also added on additional services and items that were never rendered.
And in regards of my visit, it was traumatizing. I came to the hospital incapable of moving and had vomit all over my face and chest area. After staying three for days, they left the vomit and urine untouched. There were also inmates and transients there who were being mistreated by staff. I cried every night when I was there since patients were screaming all through the night.
The worst part is that there are so many people who aren’t aware of their fraudulent practices, adding onto their already precarious financial situation. How unfortunate for this institution to provide subpar care yet still have the audacity to take advantage of people in vulnerable positions…
