Kindred Hospital Rancho - Rancho Cucamonga (CA)

1 /5 Michelle Adams-Walton: Im going to post here so there is a public record. My legal name is Michelle Adams-Walton. I am at Kindred Hospital Rancho, in Rancho Cucamonga, California I am in ICU. I have a wound vac and a wound that has fecal matter in it, when it shouldnt. The RNs here in ICU refuse to follow the guidelines from my surgeon and the in-house wound care team to not let the wound vac canister get too full which means more infection in my wound. The team in ICU have made no provision to have enough wound vac canisters on hand to prevent backwash or further infection developing, as additional canisters will be needed later tonight and tomorrow. And they have the overflowing one on hand snd one extra. Kindred Hospital Rancho does not care if I receive appropriate care. I would think this would be a liability for them. Kindred Hospitals have a habit of responding to bad reviews by suggesting the reviewer take it private. But I want this to be public so others can know the substandard care Im receiving.

5 /5 Anastasia Elliott: If I could give this place 100 stars, I would. My Mom has been at Kaiser for 2 months & was transferred to kindred a week ago. They have done more for my mom in a week than what Kaiser has done in 2 months. I don’t feel the need to have to check on my Mom all of the time here because I can tell they genuinely care about her. Carlo, the rehab specialist, is the best healthcare worker I have ever see. This man has the patients of a saint.

I had the pleasure of speaking to Mrs. Cindy, to tell her how grateful I am for the wonderful care that my wife Ernestina Telles is receiving at this Hospital. I have never seen such a fast improvement on my wife’s health and appearance for that I am truly grateful to all the staff at Kendrick hospital. Thank you so much!

1 /5 Elizabeth Rojo: My brother was brought here recently for a head trauma that he had 1 month ago. I hope this helps to get things straightened out here and hopefully they start treating patients better. My brother had a motorcycle accident and is recovering from that here he was transferred from RUHC after about 3 weeks of being there in the ICU. The experience here has been horrible from the nurses specially the night shift. We had nurses sleeping and with earphones. My brother will call them because he needed help with peeing or to get cleaned after going poop. They would tae a really long time to come and help him so my brother would get angry and yell so then they tell doctors he’s aggressive and doctors will order to retrain him but they dont mention the reason my brother is mad. It’s normal for anyone that needs assistance to get angry if they are there to help and don’t care. They are getting paid for this. Usually one family member will be with him and we help so most of the time the nurses don’t even come in to check up on any of their patients they just don’t want to deal with anything and want everything to be calm but all these patients need a lot of help and care. It is very sad to hear other patients screaming for help and they just take them for crazy. My brother had his moments that everything he says makes sense. He tells us “ how do they not want me to get and if I call them and they take forever to come help me”? AND that makes a lot of sense. Sometimes while we are there with him we call the nurses and all we get is we are waiting for a nurse to help us and we ask again 10-15 min. Later and same response all while all the nurses are just sitting around falling asleep. One nurse even told me not to baby my brother while I was trying to help him get comfortable and I told her this is not babying him this is helping him. Something they should be doing but choose not too. It makes me sad to think of all the other patients who are here suffering from something and not being able to speak up.

5 /5 Clair Hasdindra: You have excellent people that really know what they are doing. Carlo from rehab is wonderful and all others. I cant remember all the names. Im so sorry. As much as I complained about the food it was decent. There was nothing that I ever asked for that didnt get. It was a pleasure being g here. I know when I go home I wont get babied like this. Its been a pleasure and my health is abosolutly better.
