I can only say good things about the experience from my first appointment through the surgery and follow up appointments. At the pre-op appointment, Dr. Turk answered all of my questions before I could ask them. I would certainly recommend him to anyone having hip problems. I’m still amazed how fast I recovered from the surgery.

Two weeks later, I began to ride my bicycle to physical therapy, over 2 miles from my home. My recovery was quick and uneventful. No one could even imagine I have had a total hip replacement. I don’t limp, both legs are the same length, I don’t have any restrictions of motion. Dr Turk is the consummate professional, focused, talented, knowledgeable, and caring and concerned. Chuck Rogers: The doctors and their assistants are good, but the other staff are not a pleasure to interact with. Thats on top of the fact that this organization will not accept Workers Compensation cases. I have a MRSA infection from working at a hospital (Its contract security; were neither paid well or receive good benefits). Ive had to struggle to find care ever since I discharged from Los Robles Hospital. My joints hurt weeks after getting surgery, and I cant make an appointment to see any of the doctors that I saw there. Every time I call, I get the same response: "We dont accept Medi-Cal patients, cash patients, or Workers Comp. patients." It feels as though everyone is just going to keep letting me end up in the E.R. until I either die or spontaneously recover. What a sick joke.
