They even helped get a dent out of my bumper and did a fantastic job! They are our family’s go-to for any car troubles we have, and our community is so lucky to have them as a resource.

5 /5 I J: Absolutely the best autoshop in Eureka/Humboldt, hands-down. Amazingly quick, and more importantly responsive service from some of the most down to earth people youll ever meet. This is the only autoshop I will be telling my family and friends about. I could not recommend them more. 10/10 service and people, and nothing less.

They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood what needed to be done before moving forward. The customer service was top-notch—friendly, honest, and genuinely helpful. It’s not always easy to find a shop that’s both skilled and trustworthy, but J & L definitely delivers. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for reliable and professional auto repair! Truly my favorite shop in town.

On top of that, they give back to our community through volunteering and sponsoring events. JL Auto is truly one of the best businesses in Humboldt County! I’ve always had positive experiences with them—Jessie provides timely updates and accurate estimates, while Lyle works tirelessly with her to ensure everything is running smoothly. As for the one-star review, please disregard it. It’s not a truthful reflection of JL Auto. If you check her other reviews, you’ll see a pattern of misleading comments. Don’t let it affect your impression of this excellent business!

1 /5 S. P.: I parked in front of a fence on my lunch break to see a cat my friend is going to adopt for less than 20 min. Literally no one at the JL shop and it was raining and the shop door was closed. The woman working there came over to the business where I briefly stopped in right next-door to tell them that they’re going to tow my car. I won’t recommend the shop to anyone and am leaving this public review to warn others. They could have just nicely asked me to move my car, but instead threatened to tow immediately. I called JL after I left to tell them that was really unnecessary and unwarranted and the lady hung up on me. So rude and ridiculous. This is the kind of business this town doesn’t need. Get something better to do with your time and get a better attitude. Maybe then you’ll actually have customers in your parking area. PS. what they stated below this review in response is not true.
