Highly recommend it if you want to work with people who are awesome at what they do, love their work and welcome you with a big smile every time; they welcome you in a beautiful space where you can relax and take care of yourself. Location is very convenient, just blocks away from downtown Sunnyvale. If I could give 10 stars, I totally would. Online booking is also super convenient. Highly recommend everyone at Krasa studio for your next appointment taking care of yourself
Clean & Beauty Salon - Sunnyvale Kay Harlow: Standard mani pedi. She was nice, and nails were done properly. However, the nail polish started to slide off fingers and toes about an hour later. I had left the salon already.
I noticed that she had brushed on a yellow tinted bottom coat before the polish. It smelled like chemicals used in fastening on acrylic nails. Not a nail polish smell at all. She put on the 2 coats of polish and the top coat.
That acrylic chemical smell remained on my nails. The polish slid right off, one finger and the next. It left a gooey gooey texture, and nails had a jaundice yellow stain. It was too late to drive back to the salon, so I went home removed all remaining polish and goop from nails and toe nails, and sanded the yellowish color off.
I have no idea what went wrong. Weirdest manicure I ever had.
Tongyan Beauty Spa - Sunnyvale Xinran M: This is a long overdue review! Got my lashes done at Tongyan last minute before a trip! Would 100% recommend. The owner is super nice and her technique is perfect! Def my top lash spot in town
Payal Brow Arc Beauty Salon - Sunnyvale Divya kathiravan: I wish I could give this place zero stars. Total disappointment and completely unprofessional!
I made an appointment the previous day but ended up wasting my time. They don’t seem to value their clients’ time, as they prioritized others who arrived after me, claiming they were long-time customers with appointments at the same time. The salon was understaffed, with only one person handling all the clients.
She asked me to wait, saying she had called her boss to send someone else, but instead, she proceeded to take another client for a waxing service. I waited for almost 45 minutes, during which no one else showed up, and the person continued working with the other client. Frustrated, I asked the owner for an update, only to be told it would take another 20 minutes for someone to arrive. By this time, I had already waited over an hour.
The owner tried to persuade me not to leave a review by offering a discount, but at that point, I just wanted to get the service done. I waited an additional 10 minutes, and still, no one showed up. I was so frustrated that I left and went to another nearby salon, where the service was truly remarkable.
Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place! Appointments here are completely pointless and a waste of time.
Forever Beauty Salon - Sunnyvale Linze Shi: Absolutely atrocious experience. This was less of a haircut and more of a speedrun challenge. The barber spent just a few minutes hacking away at my hair, leaving it uneven and completely unblended—clearly more interested in getting rid of me than actually doing their job.
To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to demand a high tip, as if they had just performed some kind of masterpiece instead of a botched job. As a final touch, they left me covered in tiny hair clippings—on my face, down my neck, inside and outside my clothes—so I could take a piece of their "work" home with me. No attempt was made to brush them off, because why bother when you can just rush to the next victim?
If you’re looking for a premium experience in speed butchery, look no further. Otherwise, save yourself the regret.
Beauty Finesse - Sunnyvale Maria Solis: I’ve been going to Alondra for quite some time now. She makes you feel very comfortable and you can just feel the good vibes all the time. She is very professional and also very kind and sweet. I’ve gotten my brows and lashes plus body waxing and I always love all the results. She is the best at what she does. Love going to her❤️ so if you’re in need of any waxing or brow/lash treatments please go book your appointment! You won’t be disappointed!
Naz Threading Salon - Sunnyvale Bhavya Kothari: I visited during their "happy hour" for a full hands and legs waxing. While the sign at the salon listed the price as $50, I was charged $55. When I asked about the discrepancy, the staff member said the prices had changed—but there was no updated pricing displayed.
When I inquired about the cost of other basic services like eyebrow or upper lip waxing, she didn’t know and had to call the owner to confirm. This inconsistency made me feel like the pricing might vary depending on the customer.
Additionally, the waxing room was not clean. There was wax residue on various surfaces, and I had to use a tissue to place my purse down. Overall, not a great experience in terms of transparency or hygiene.
Instyle Beauty Salon & Barber - Sunnyvale Silence Dogood: This is _not_ for men. The dressers do not know how to use scissors, depending wholly on clippers to cut your hair. Literally the worst haircut I’ve ever received, and she took over 45 minutes to do it. She was friendly, so there’s the 2 star rating.
If you’re going to try it, give them a clipper size or two longer than you actually want, cause they’ll likely have to cut more to try and even it out. Seriously, I’ve given myself better haircuts.
Kary Beauty Designer - Sunnyvale Fernanda Monge: I love this hair salon, I came in with a messed up money piece and messed up highlights and she completely transformed my hair. I definitely recommend coming here!! Plus she tells you what you need to hear about your hair and will give you the best hair color
