1 /5 Sandy Macias: Dr. Carr did a fusion in 2017. Something is just not right. My back goes out then I can’t even take a step forward without so much pain I almost pass out. He insists there is nothing wrong. If there is one piece of advice I can give anyone is do not have back surgery. Biggest regret of my life. I’m a registered nurse and I can’t say I’ve ever seen success. I was also put off when he told me to see him after a MRI and when I called. His staff said “that’s why we are here, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about “. Very unprofessional. While waiting in the waiting room overheard staff arguing with a patient on the phone then heard all about it after the call. I’m finally finished with this office. So many bad experiences and I keep going back hoping he can help me. He can’t.

I was a candidate for surgery in 2015 and FINALLY, after years of PT and two short-lived pain-relief epidurals, I came back to Dr. Carr, who was my second opinion orthopedist in 2017. I had successful, LONG OVERDUE, COFLEX device placed, that has been LIFE CHANGING for me in so many ways I just dont have room here . . . San Luis Obispo and California in general, is so very blessed to have your expert surgical skills . . . If you, or someone you know has given up on their back pain, please go through the paces with Dr. Carr, you will have your life back!!! -Kate W.

Laura Little: Dr. Miriam Lomelino is an outstanding healthcare provider and physician. I saw her at a time in my life where I was desperate for good care and she provided everything I needed. She has a terrific staff. The office is accessible and attractive. She works tirelessly, she’s very personable. She takes great notes, she spends time with you. She’s a wonderful listener. She’s good at diagnosing your condition and promptly providing the treatment you need. The referrals that she makes are excellent as well. I received top-notch care for the year that I saw her. The only complaint I have is that my insurance changed and I could no longer see her.

Alessio Della Motta: I have an extremely serious situation with my family health requiring a very simple form to be filled: administrators and providers did everything possible to avoid providing any help. The front desk and billing system bills multiple times (and late) and are not responsive whatsoever. Asking for medical follow-ups and tests is always pushed back. Appointments are extremely hard to schedule. The only responsiveness is on messages through online platform. I hope this doesnt reflect the behavior of primary care providers overall because it is a terrible example.

Jerry Chiang: Besides their outside environment always smell with Marijuana, their terrible services leave us no choice but change our OB to other hospitals. My wife and I just cant believe the fact that there is NO ASSIGNED OB for my wife, meaning my wife had to be seen by different doctors each time she came..... The worst part is they dont allow me as her husband to be in the clinic room with her. I remember one time she came out and told me that OB made her bleeding for her normal check up. No nurse or any staff notified me about this situation of my wife, nor any apologies... Im so sicken of this kind of attitude and entitlement of health care system here.
