Mindful Health Solutions - TMS - Spravato Treatment - Fairfield - Fairfield Kendra Mcdonald: Extremely disappointed. I had a good experience here for about a year. I stopped taking the medication that was prescribed to me by this psychiatrist because I didn’t like the effects that it had on me. I was OK for a substantial amount of time until seasonal depression hit and I started to take a medication that was prescribed to me previously, and it had been working wonders. As I was getting close to running out of medication, I made an appointment for a refill. I had plenty of time to get a refill before I ran out when I made the appointment. I understand life happens, which is why I didn’t get upset when the first appointment I made was canceled. But I was already going to be going a few days without medication at the second appointment that they scheduled but then canceled. So I asked multiple times if I could see a different psychiatrist in the interim or if she could write a prescription for my medication, which is not a controlled suspense or anything that needs counseling. I was refused the prescription without having an appointment even though I tried to come into the office and tried telehealth. A supervisor never called me after multiple messages were sent. And I was told that if I need the medication I could go into the emergency room or go to my primary care doctor. Clearly there’s no compassion from this doctor because getting into a primary care takes about three months in this area and she wasted a month of my time canceling appointments thankfully I’m not in crisis, but to cancel appointments for someone who is stating that they want to continue their medication for mental health is extremely dangerous in my opinion. I can’t even fathom why she would want to take on that liability.
