1 /5 Cindy McFarland: Had my rv towed here the day before Thanksgiving and was told they would start on repairs that Friday. When I called on Friday was told they would start on it next week. So 5 days wasted. Left detailed list, #1 make heater, a/c and thermostat all work together. #2 Adjust the slide so it sits right. #3 repair leak under water inlet #4 replace water inlet to toilet and toilet valve. I specified I needed it Dec 4th. I called Dec 3rd at 2:30 and was told "I think theyre done with it, Ill call you closer to the end of the day" Tried to call again 4:30, no answer. Went to the lot, the rv was still all hooked up, not at all ready to go.
Fred went thru the rv with my husband while I went to office to pay bill. I was given a bill for a staggering $1924.00. I asked if they take card as I did not have that much cash. She asked how much I did have. I counted all I had in my wallet for $1760.00 and pulled out my card for the rest. I was told we could "call it even" and consider the rest a discount. I felt ill. Nothing about this place had been professional and that was bad news.
My husband was hooked up to the rv when I got outside. I got in the truck and he proceeded to tell me how disgusted he was by the lack of things being fixed. When he asked me what the bill was I hesitated until we had pulled away because I knew his reaction would be as bad as mine. We drive home silent, and stunned.$2000.00 and we have to find another place to fix it. No heater. Slide not closing correct. Maybe the toilet works, maybe they fixed the leak at the water inlet. It currently is at a reputable rv repair place. Run from the rv repair side of this business. Hope they do better in the big truck repair side.
