04-2025 Harper Salon in The Best 18 Hair Salons in Los Angeles, CA (part 2) Halls Of Ivy Salon - Los Angeles Veronica Taylor: Halls of Ivy Salon is by far my favorite salon I’ve ever been to. The hospitality and care they put into their work is unmatched, and I always feel at home here. The owner Kristin goes out of her way to make sure everyone is welcome, and as a queer person, I truly love that I have a safe space. 10/10 would recommend! Also if you have hair damage like me from previous at-home hair projects, request the K18 treatment, it has truly changed the health of my hair, and it feels like silk now!
Hair People Full Services Salon - Los Angeles Raquel: I was in LA for a concert about 2 weeks ago and had time to kill. Was feeling spontaneous and decided to get a haircut with the couple hours I had. I started googling places and all the reviews for this salon were great. I was skeptical at first from the picture of the outside but I called and Julie was able to get me in super fast. She could also quote me over the phone what her starting prices were (which I thought was too good to be true) something that a lot of salons don’t like to disclose until you’re in their chair. It was a relaxing atmosphere. The service came with shampoo and conditioner and the full haircut. Julie was so genuine and you could tell she truly loves her job. She keeps her prices affordable for the average person as myself which I appreciated so much. Please support small businesses like this salon as Julie is the owner and only stylist, it’s hard to keep busy when there’s so many other salons in LA. In the end, I came out loving my haircut and know if I’m in LA and in need of a random haircut again, I will definitely be going back.
Amber Holistic - Los Angeles Tricia Taghon: Amber Holistic Salon is the best! It’s a beautiful space with an amazing staff. Jennifer was my stylist she did highlights and a cut. My hair turned out beautiful. Nataly is the salon manager, she was super knowledgeable about products and delightful to deal with. The products are clean and organic. Ambler is an amazing stylist herself and obviously cares about her salon and keeping her clientele healthy and happy. If you want a great experience, book now. Thanks guys. See you soon.

Hair Craft - Los Angeles Luis L: Legend says once you have been to a Japanese salon, you will never go back to other places. So for the past 15 years, I have only been going to high end Japanese salons and have even gone to a few of them in Japan.
To be completely frank, the first time I’ve been here, there are some bad stereotypes going on in my head. But once you get pass that stereotypes, you see real legends. Kaz is my stylist and he is easily the most skillful one I have ever been with. His attention to details is his second natural and is a perfectionist (which is the best trait for a stylist).

V S Hair Salon - Los Angeles E S: I am an overweight person who loves short hair. But finding someone who cuts it short and makes me look cute is hella difficult. But the ladies here made it happen. They also cut my babies hair and styled it, they even gifted her a bow. My husband also got a haircut. The process was fast and the results were amazing! They’ve gained 3 lifetime customers for sure.

She does a great job giving you what you ask for whether its hair color of perm. If you have a picture reference she does a great job referring to it and adjusting it to make sure it suits your face shape and style. Her energy is always great and the assistants who wash hair are great as well!
