5 /5 James Delahoussaye: One of the best haircuts I’ve had in idk how long. Super meticulous. I’m just visiting for the weekend but I’d almost drive back just for another trim in the future. Also check out the great coffee shop and used bookstore close by.

5 /5 Martin Shiah: I was visiting from LA and walked in without an appointment. Armando was my barber and he was professional and gave me exactly what I was looking for. The whole crew there is talented and the owner runs a tight ship. All the bad reviews are in my opinion a result of folks not being familiar with how barbershops operate. This is a small but very busy shop. If you don’t have an appointment make sure you communicate properly and make yourself known. Don’t just sit there assuming you’ll be catered to hand and foot. Don’t be entitled. I visit Goleta at least once a year and this will be my go-to shop from now on when I’m in town. I paid more than double for a cut down in Santa Barbara and these upscale barbers are doing too much and charging high because their rent is too high and add too many unnecessary amenities, in my opinion. The free banter and laughs are a nice touch. This is how old school barbershops are and it’s an authentic experience.

5 /5 Christopher Ackler: First time customer here at Goleta Barbers. Place was busy but I was able to walk in and sit right down with no wait. Very clean and well decorated barber shop. Armando gave me an excellent cut, exactly to my request. He finished with a straight razor neck cleanup which is awesome. It kills me to spend $40 for a simple haircut but that is the standard everywhere it seems. With the local Fantastic Sams closed, I am very happy to find this gem of a local barbershop.
