1 /5 Marina: I wish we could give this place negative ratings, they deserve zero starts. Not only do they not answer phone calls on a timely manner, when they do they’re so incompetent they don’t know how to transfer calls. They lack common sense to send prescriptions over to the pharmacy. Recently they misplaced my paperwork. Who in the hell runs this place? Are they even qualified?! Do they hold training sessions for employees? Half of the staff is rude, and your answering service can’t be understood because of their thick accent. This place needs a new director and staff.

1 /5 Krystyn Costea: Front office staff was rude and disappointing. I am a single mother working full-time and my child woke up with an ear infection. I provided a written letter as well as insurance for my child to be taken by a family member. The office staff was rude and was unwilling to see my child and even called me to say that I should’ve been the one that brought my child in. Her father is in the military and was unable to be there, and I was unable to call off of work that day and was thankful that a family member could take her. They would not take her father’s insurance because he wasn’t there, even though it was explained that he was active duty military And was obvious as she has TRICARE. They were reluctant to take my insurance, but made it very difficult for my For my child to be seen And the comment made was unprofessional. I unfortunately have to work full time and as a single mom I’m not always able to take off work. I’m thankful I have family to assist me but the way this was mishandled is very disappointing. I called 5 times to this office regarding the matter with no answer.

1 /5 Trisha Brooks: Came in with severe shoulder pain and left with nothing but tears. Why cant you people listen and help. If it gets any worse my ass. Thats why Im here.. its a horrible pain and I need more than you doing absolutely nothing to help. No I dont want a doctors note. I need help

1 /5 emi lee: This is the poorest quality of health care service that anyone could ever received. Not only are the staff unfriendly, but they lack the drive to care for their patients. The whole care team lacks professionalism and can’t coordinate together as a team. I was waiting to be seen, and in front of the reception desk, the nurses who were checking me in were freely discussing the drama that has been going on within their team. Proceeding to the pharmacy, it appears that everyone gets paid to discuss unrelated work topics as they have a line of waiting patients. This is the most unprofessional care I’ve ever experienced especially for what is supposedly to be an establishment that promotes quality care. I am extremely dissatisfied with this form of care and the lack of professionalism the nurses and doctors seem to have. I can ensure you that I will not be returning to this location specifically. I will soon be seeking another health care provider that can properly provide the basic quality of health care.

This place will have you running circles all over Merced just to tell you “we’re all booked up for the day” at 1:30pm and “we have another urgent care at Northview” and send you that way just to be told “our provider only see’s kids 16yrs of age and older” What ever happened to valuing the mission statement and serving the underserved!

Matt D: Im suffering from a osteomyelitis wound that started off as a pressure ulcer that was diagnosed by this doctor. Im at risk of losing my bone and or dying. Initially it started off as a small pressure ulcer in may 2022 that barkshay treated with just permithean cream. It was not healing despite him witnessing that it was growing and gaining necrosis. I stopped eatingamd was losing weight and had cold sweats that haunt me today. They just scraped the necrosis and sent me home. Months later October 2022 i had severe chills and looked like a skeleton. The last visit with him and his rude nurse(who kept complaining that I wasn’t giving her eye contact when i was literally sick and losing focus) needed to refer to my primary doctor who told them to send me to the hospital for antibiotics. Even then the call didnt come thru for me to get me into a chair. I remember one day i was losing consciousness on my living room floor and my mom dragged me to the hospital ER and they found cellulitis at the wound site and iwas septic. They kept me in the hospital for a week under antibiotics. The nurses and surgeon stated that I should have been treated much sooner They however left me with a big hole that has yet to heal. Nothing has worked to heal this wound and now i have sever chromic osteomyelitis that i have to go to stanford in January for. I am afraid. Im not sure how this is going to turn out but I should have gone to a real doctor at stanford or ucsf for this type of wound at the beginning stages. Im in a wheelchair and have spina bifida (and not a doctor) but realize i needed better diagnosis than just a simple cream. Barkshay has a history of misdiagnosis from what I heard and his office at the time smelled horrific( like infection and death) and his patients are visibly sick or have severe infected wounds from what I remember. Also his nurses are unprofessional . Barkshay ruined me i just hope not permanently. I will eventually report him and his staff once i heal and go from there. If you are a patient and notice no improvement go to the emergency room dont risk it like i did. *picture is from Aug when it finally had necrosis*

Tom Cozzi: I dont know what people expect from the staff. Ive been going there for years and I have not seen the problems that people are complaining about. People need to relax and give the employees credit for what they are doing and realize that there other patients patients being seen. Sometimes it takes them a little longer to finsh with some patients than others. I prefer that they take their time to make sure each person gets the proper care. So put away your stop watch and relax

Lina: I want to thank the ladies at the front desk at the Womens center! They were very helpful and worked with a sense of urgency & sympathy. They couldnt help me with the appointment I had scheduled but they called around and found solutions for me. Ive never had an office do that for me. I drove all the way from Modesto & I was already in excruciating amount of pain but they turned my experience into a good one after all❤️

Sonya Virk: He’s such a horrible doctor. I went int the ER after 3-4 days of vomiting & diarrhea. He admitted me & completed an endoscopy. He informed me of having ulcers in my stomach & esophagus. He then informed me I’d be out from work for two weeks. I was released from the hospital the same day and went into his office the following week to complete my out of work paperwork. He then refused to fill anything out, claiming he never told me to take any time off from work. I had several witness there including the Mercy Hospital floor charge nurse that confirmed he stated that however, he still refused to fill out the paperwork work. I nearly lost my job because his lack of professionalism and memory issues. I went into my primary Physician who indicated not one of my hospital medical records indicate I had any ulcers at all.

Jarrod James: Let me start by stating Dr. Trumbull is a great guy and good Dr. Who genuinely cares about people and wants to do good by his patients. That being said his staff is absolutely abhorrent! All his good staff have left leaving his practice in a sad state. When you call you are answered by an employee that doesnt understand English or thinks entirely too much of himself. As great as Dr. Trumbull is I would look for treatment elsewhere.

Jess Montoya: Excellent service! Staff was helpful on the phone when I initially called in with questions. They were friendly and efficient at the front desk when I arrived. The staff that took care of me in the back were friendly and provided excellent care. It was also $140 cheaper than they wanted to charge me at the urgent care down the street. Highly recommended!
