greg murphy: Wow, what a great repair shop. My motorhome brakes failed on a mountain (rt88) and it was horrifying. I was towed (AAA) to Amador Automotive about 11 miles down the hill. Dennis the owner diagnosed it was the master brake cylinder in just a few minutes. Turned out the part had to be ordered and would not arrive for about three days. They let me stay in the motorhome on his property while we waited for the part to arrive. They let me borrow a pickup truck so I could get groceries or whatever over the weekend. The part came but was the wrong one! Dennis found one in LA, ordered it and when it finally came they had it installed in no time. What a great crew, all so kind. If I lived in the area they would for sure be my go to people for everything auto related. Would give 6 stars if I could. THANK YOU Dennis!

Last time they left my steering wheel oily and told me I need to get my oil changed more often than the manufacturer recommends. The lady at the desk is nice. Edit. Manager called and cleared some things up. Very nice and apologetic.

My son is attending CSU Chico and discovered that not only had a squirrel built a nest in his engine compartment, it had chewed through a couple of wiring harnesses! I contacted Chico Car Care because of the great reviews here, and wasnt disappointed. Dan took great care of us and they were able to repair the wiring for less than their estimate! They made it easy to handle the entire process remotely from over 500 miles away using text messages and web-based documents. My son was back on the road in a couple of days, and for less $ than I thought it would be. They even sent a ride-share service to pick him up when the car was done. Excellent service and we will be going back to them again if we need to get the car serviced again. Highly recommend!
