L.A. Downtown Medical Center - Downtown Campus - Los Angeles
Rachel G: My mother recently had surgery at this Hospital. She spent two days and one night here. She was able to have her own room on the 6th floor. Night nurse Kristine and her CNA were amazing. I stayed with my mother all night and was glad to see the nurses constantly checking in on her and making sure she was comfortable. Every staff member we interacted with was very polite and helpful. Thank you LADMC!
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center - Los Angeles
Victoria Alejandra: My experience was exceptional all nurses were so sweet towards me and treated me so kindly . The reviews got to me at first however it was nothing compared to that. Only frustrating part was the wait time to be admitted in a private room but other than that great experience and I am beyond grateful for the amazing staff I was given ! God bless this hospital for working so hard and providing great care to me !

PIH Health Good Samaritan Hospital - Los Angeles
Brigitte Petersen: Both times at this ER I was dismissed with abdominal pain and told “I had a little tummy ache from eating something funny” along with miming of patting the stomach and a baby voice. Both times my scans showed more info: the first time internal bleeding and intestinal swelling the second time kidney stones. This information was not told to me only printed in my reports given at discharge. That being said, both times they did do CT scans and blood work, gave me pain meds, etc to help me. While terrible at diagnosis I got good info to take to my care team. Other hospitals won’t do CT as readily.
Los Angeles Community Hospital - Los Angeles
DANESHA HOWELL: This hospital ain’t clean, the sink in the room don’t work, the nurses button don’t work, anyone could walk in, don’t feel safe. Some of the nurses are rude. All though Moses the nurse he was really nice and funny. When my mom was here we had to visit her through the window on the outside on the streets and it really bothered me because we didn’t get to hug her before she passed. They sending my sister home because they couldn’t get her IV right so they discharging her, so they was saying since she’s not getting no IV medicine she have to go home.
Southern California Hospital at Hollywood - Los Angeles
Jenna Stone: AWFUL!!!!! The doctor was irresponsible and dismissive. Insinuating that I was fishing for prescriptions when I had in severe pain and was trying to find answers about what was going on with my body. He should NOT being working at this hospital. However the nurse I had named Annie was the most helpful and genuine nurse. As well as the female nurse that called me about test results, super helpful. With the lack of empathy from the main doctor, the Nurse made me feel comfortable and heard. Personally will never choose this hospital again and would never recommend it to anyone.
Childrens Hospital Los Angeles - Los Angeles
Rosydel Arce: I have around 4 hours waiting for the nurse, and the system is still the same 30 minutes (from the beginning) for waiting and 7 place to be assisting. Oter people have 6 and 7 hours here, I dont understand why is to long the waiting time, the hospital dont have the necessary personal. Ohh but they ask for money and each place where we buy and dont have nurse or doctors to help the sick kids in "Urgent Care". Update after 9 hours, still in the waiting room.... is better a regular hospital , big mistake thing that here is a good place , super frustrated is not to much people here, and I cant understand what theyre doing in side to extend the waiting here ... The 1st nurse in the window is super rude, we have the baby sick and also we had to resist personal like this.
Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital - Los Angeles
Christina Orozco: I’m giving three stars because of a nurse practitioner in dermatology who used the excuse “the rooms are too small, only one person” to accommodate my daughter and I in the room with my husband during the dermatologist visit that we wanted over 1 month for! I spoke to a very nice lady who made it possible for my daughter and I to be in the room during the visit. Bedside manners are important. And taking the time to make sure your patient is comfortable only takes a few seconds. I am extremely grateful for the employee who fought for us. Thank you.

Kindred Hospital Los Angeles - Los Angeles
Amanda Posey: My husband came to them on a breathing machine in a sleeping state after spending 3weeks in the ICU in Bakersfield. He was in a motorcycle accident that caused all injury to his brain. He was dead on the scene and brought back by bystanders and the ICU staff said he was brain dead and would never be the same. Then he was transferred to Kindred hospital in Los Angeles. That was on a Friday I came up for the first time that Sunday and walked into his room he was awake and trying to speak to me. And before I left that day he spoke to me and said he loved me and he gave me a kiss. Which is 2 of the three things I had been told he would never do again because of his trauma and I juryies to the brain. Since then my husband has improved so much. He is no longer on any kind of machine he is able to breathe on his own walk on his own and most of all talk and eat for sure. I dont think the hospital would be able to feed anyone if they allowed him to go to the kitchen cause he would eat everything. If u have a loved one who needs long term care for any reason I highly recommend Kindred Hospital for you. Everyone is attentive, and go way beyond their duties to make sure the patient is improving. And as for the family I always knew what was being done to him or what was given to him I met the entire team of doctors case managers and nurses my first days here visiting. And due to me not being able to afford a hotel room when I come to visit I was allowed to sleep in my van on the property and security kept a look over me. In the morning I was allowed to come into the lobby and freshen up for the day. No questions asked. So the staff here dont just care about the patients they care about the well being of family as well. I could never say or do anything to show how appreciated I am of this place and the staff and the teamwork they display daily. The integrity and the values and morals of each person is just astounding and admirable to say the least. I rate this place a 10 plus cause there really is no words to express how grateful I am that they have been apart of bringing my husband back to life again. The beautiful lady who sits in the lobby answering the phone during the week is just amazing with her patience and understanding of folks who are walking in stressed out and scared for a loved one she has a way and a voice that just makes u relax a little once she starts talking. And nurse Barbara who went out of her way to make sure my husband had cookies to snack on and ice cream as a special treat I love her down to earth attitude and helpful ways. And to the nurse who sat in the room and had to clean up his bed and him daily thank u. I realize that as my husband has improved he could really be a handful to deal with and to all the staff who didnt shut him up or mistreat him in anyways I thank u for treating my family as if we was your family during our stay here with you You guys are something to be admired and should all get some kind of bonus or something to show that you are awesome ... Sincerely the Johnson family
