Since its not required, I refused and requested that only the teeth cleaning for which I had made an appointment be done. I had later offered to share my X-rays(on phone), which were taken a year ago, but they refused because they take X-rays of all new patients. They canceled my appointment because they couldnt make money since I refused to have X-rays. Since these X-rays are only covered by insurance once every five years and I just had my X-rays done a year ago, I would have had to pay out of pocket.
Doctor, you wasted both my and your time. Tell your executives to clearly communicating patients about the "necessary dental X-ray" even if they only schedule a cleaning appointment.
It wouldve been much easier if they had mentioned X-rays when I made the appointment.

Dr. Amor B. Del Rosario, DMD - Fremont Me G: Friendly staff, but several months later received a bill. They said I never paid. But recalled paying for it but staff insisted I need to pay a balance. I just went ahead and paid. A year later I get a call from dental staff stating I owe an amount. I asked from which date and treatment. The staff said she would find out, look into it and she said from months ago. I told her I haven’t even been to that dentist in over a year. She said she would call me back after looking further into it. She called back and said it was an error. What’s strange is my two relatives who also went to this dentist years prior to me also had the same experience where they paid the balance but after months was told they still have a balance. My relatives told them they had already made payments. But staff insisted they still have a balance. Therefore, I stopped going to this dentist immediately and am happy at my new dentist office.
Dream Smile Dental - Union City Terrance Gee: I had a good first experience at Dream Smile Dental. I recently moved to the east bay and was looking for a new dentist for more convenience. This place popped up and I gave it a shot. They were friendly and were very flexible with scheduling a first appointment immediately. My cleaning went very smooth and nicely with Velma and their technician taking x-rays was also very communicative and friendly as well. Overall I would recommend and was in and out after a cleaning and exam quickly.
Dr Atousa Zarrinjooee, DDS - Fremont Kristin Quan: I have been coming to this dental practice for over 20 years! Each experience has been wonderful! It used to be Dr. Wong but he has retired and now Dr. Zarrinjooee (Dr. Z for short) has taken over the business and she is wonderful!
I get the same excellent care. I live in Oakland and I make the commute to Fremont because its worth it! I dont feel any pain during or afterwards and my teeth feel so clean. Dr. Z is very friendly, compassionate, and detailed. She takes great pride in her work and has steady hands. She truly wants the best for her patients and their teeth. Joel is her assistant (he assisted Dr. Wong as well). He is friendly and does a great job in taking x-rays, assisting Dr. Z, and suctioning. He also remembers to always ask me if I brought my retainers to help me clean them. I highly recommend coming here.
Smile Brite is located in a plaza with lots of parking. Dr. Z for sure accepts delta dental insurance so call to see if she accepts yours!

Fremont Dental Care - Fremont Annie Huang: Dr Alemu and her team have been wonderful! She is thorough, professional and does a great job explaining what she’s doing to your teeth. Some dentists that I’ve come across will do/say anything just to get your insurance money. I’m so so glad that this isn’t the case with Dr Alemu.
