1 /5 Catherine Mesina: I brought my car here for a major tuneup last year May, 2021 and was charged almost $2k. Last Saturday, my engine light and cruise control started flashing. I brought it to my shop near my area. Turns out the spark plugs needed to be replaced and I was told that the spark plugs were old. I went home to look at the receipt from Fremont United Auto Service and I was charged for removal & replacement of spark plugs for $127. Work was never done. I dont use my car often so its not from the wear and tear. My mileage when I brought it to this shop was: 86k., now its 89k. Spark plugs do not get old 3k, a year later. Makes me wonder what other work was charged to me and never done. Im so disappointed. I have been going to this shop when I lived in Fremont, my sister still goes to this shop and I have trusted Alex all this time. It just makes me sad and angry!
