Tiffany Robertson: I love Caldwell Park. There is a larger skate park area and a tiny one for the kids. Nice area to walk along the water, with a few spots you can walk in, get your feet wet. Its beautiful.
Ileaha Smith: We were traveling from WA state and staying in Redding when we really needed a place to unwind and let the kids run off some energy. This was the perfect park! Clean, exciting for all ages and safe.
Keith Wellborn: Best park around and perfect for the road trip. Grabbed lunch at store and stopped by for the covered picnic area.Tons of activities for the kids to burn off a little energy!! Highly recommend. Super clean bathroom and super clean play ground!
DimondMoon87: Small area, but amazing sites, great trails. Be careful of the drop-offs on the side. The cliffs over the water on the trails. The cliffs arent on my picture but youll see if you explore left or right of the look out point
bartellj: Iāve spent my entire life looking for the worldās largest grinding stone, and I finally found it. This beautiful piece of stone and metal machinery is absolutely breathtaking especially with the Arco gas station in the background. If you are driving down I five you absolutely must pull off and take a family portrait, or your new social media profile picture in front of this God bless the grinding stone makers!
Aaron Howard: Great views of Redding, Sacramento River, and the Sundial Bridge. Lots of open area for dogs to explore. Picknick tables are nice to sit and watch your dog.
David Marshall: Im glad they finally made thus into a place to stop at and take a closer look at the sphere! Its just kinda down a road that eventually comes to a dead end, and there isnt anything really around it, so Im sure there is not a ton of visitors to stop and look at the sculpture? The area is nice a clean. Bathroom was nice a clean when I was there. It was nice though cause nobody was there, and I could take my pics and not have to watch out for people. Its a nice place, I just hope they maybe add some more too it so that it might attract more people.
Jacob: Having a decent playground right next to Lema Ranch is great. The downside is the no dogs rule is not enforced and itās not uncommon for people to let their dogs off leash, despite the signage. Last time I was there, someoneās large dog was walking up on peopleās toddlers without the owner batting an eye, all while an employee was nearby.
