The owner has done my daughters hair twice now, straightening her hair and trimming it - and both times her hair has maintained a silky straight finish for WEEKS! its really amazing and my daughter couldnt be happier with it, shell always ask for Texture by name. Thank you!
Wave Studio Hair Salon - Long Beach Adriana Juarez: Linh is the BEST! This is my first time getting my hair done. I loved how she took her time to explain what the process will be like, she kept is very honest with me! Her work is truly amazing and I look forward to our future appointments!

Reaching out to them on socials to make an appointment as a new client (yes, I realize it is the "holidays"), they have stylists text you stating they can take you as a new client, even asking for detailed information from you in terms of your needs -- only to IGNORE you completely after sending very detailed information regarding an upcoming appointment.
Sadly, another local DUMP in Long Beach glorified by likely fake reviews & an owner who simply excuses away their absurd wasting of clients time during an already busy season !
FAR better options in the area for your hair needs ! Explore them all before you consider this place !
Underground Salon - Long Beach Raavee Ralhan: Good for hair dye, but not this is not for curly hair people. The dye job was done well. I had asked for blowdry just so the dye doesnt get on my shirt from wet hair, my words exactly. I even mentioned that its ok if my hair is slightly damp because even at home, it takes a long time to dry. But instead, there was an attempt to straighten my hair. I didnt ask for that. No one with straight hair walks out of a salon with a perm, so why should a curly haired person walk out with straight hair? Also my shirt got bleached as well, which usually doesnt happen with my regular.
Edit: my baby hairs in the front turned blonde, I guess because I wash my face. I didnt realize a simple face wash could strip a semi-permanent dye. I usually dont have this problem with other hair stylists. I dont think Ill be returning here again.
Style Salon - Long Beach Cirla Cole: Kindness could have gone a long way. I have been a customer for a long time to Elaine. I requested a high light and she color my hair black. She told me I could go back to fix it. I made a mistake on my calendar. We set up for another time. I had an accident right when I was leaving to her salon. I had to turn around and changed my clothes . I was 15 minutes. Many many time Elaine has been late and I never complained. She made me drive 40 minutes to her salon. When I arrived she said she already call another customer and returned my money. Didn’t want even to listen to me. She was rude. Now, I have to pay twice as much to fix her mistake. Sometimes you are kind to others and it doesn’t mean others will be kind to you.
Shear & Shine Hair Studio -Hair salons - Long Beach Christine Grisanti: I usually see Nika. She did a great job coloring and cutting my hair in the past. I called today to make an appointment with her however she’s on vacation. They were able to give me in with a different stylist Unfortunately I forgot his name. He also did a great job. I was so happy they could squeeze me in last minute like that. They are friendly and reasonably priced. I’m always pleased with my results. Thanks guys
Imagen Latina - Long Beach MARIA BARRERA: Wanted my short hair trimmed all the same length, Morena did a horrible, horrible job, layered hair on the back and only on one side, did the sides length so uneven and pointed at the front, left a big hollow spot close to my ears on both sides. Totally not what I asked for, definitely not going back ever again
Hair Basix - Long Beach Suzan Luu: Diana is great, kind, and efficient! She cuts my hair and my two kids. Very affordable. Our go to place now!
Hair 911 - Long Beach yin yang: Walk-ins welcome, about 6 people working at this busy shop. There was lots of sports related conversations. If you like that kind of atmosphere, its good for you. I just wanted my hair cut well, and I think it was too much talking for my taste. The guys would interrupt their work to talk with each other and that doesnt translate to a good cut or service, especially when they charge the same price as everybody else, and nothing differentiates them.
