1 /5 Sharon OHara: Worst...experience....ever....if I could leave zero stars, I would...I waited 8 months to get into this office. Dr. Rasheed was dismissive and condescending. I am living on minimal foods because everything is making me sick. He disregarded this point, flipped a low FODMAP flyer at me and said "just eat." I told him my suspicion of what I had, he asked what and ignored it. I found out he has the test kit in his office. I ended up diagnosed with it. When I went to the checkout desk, that lady was extremely rude to me. She was talking really fast and I asked her to slow down because it was like she was speaking a foreign language telling me about all these tests. So then she spoke to me like a five year old, ennunciating every word with long pauses in between each word. I left that office in tears. I called and spoke to the team leader/supervisor. She switched me to his nurse practitioner, and told me if I had to go back to a GI, I wouldnt have to go to the original one that I could go to another one. The nurse practitioner seemed gung-ho to help me at first. She wanted a CT scan and apparently my insurance denied it. So then she wanted to dump me back on the GI. I called the office back telling them how I was told I wouldnt have to go back to him and they told me that supervisor/team leader wasnt there anymore and they wouldnt allow it. I was diagnosed with two separate things so far and both times I had to find the results online and call them. One of those times the medical assistant called me back and she knew less about the condition than I did. How come the provider didnt call me and set up a strategy session? One of those things they called me a month ago with the diagnosis, after I called them of course, and still havent called to start a treatment plan. I am so disappointed and appalled by this office...
