He made my first appointment with him an incredible experience. i had never gotten a curly haircut before and this is the beginning of my journey learning how to care for my hair. Dustin went above and beyond in his work, as someone who loves knowing what’s going on he walked me through every step of the process and empowered me with the tools to be able to style and care for my hair. just i CANNOT speak higher praises. i cannot wait for my next appointment and yeah! 10/10 recommend Dustin and if you’re looking for a stylist he is everything and more!

5 /5 Alexis Martin: Since finding Dustin, I ALWAYS look forward to a haircut to refresh my hair. Like with most people on the curly hair spectrum, I used to dread haircuts. I already struggled with styling and managing my hair, and when stepping into salons, the request to cut curly hair would often feel treated as a fun experiment. For years, I’d leave salons feeling disappointed and self-conscious. After coming to Dustin over the past 2 years, I’ve genuinely turned a corner with my relationship to my hair. He connects with his clients authentically, and made an often stressful experience one I can relax and feel confident in. I feel completely heard when it comes to my hair concerns, and comfortable asking questions or for advice on styling and techniques to better manage my hair by myself. The way he cut my hair and also showed me how to style correctly to enhance my specific type of curl has me embracing my natural hair. I don’t need to battle with straightening tools anymore. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Alyberry: As a curly haired girl, I highly recommend Dustin’s services!! I came from a salon that specialized in curly hair, but were very pushy and didn’t listen to what I wanted at all. Dustin listened to my story and spent the whole appointment building my trust, asking me detailed questions on how I want my hair to look, and explaining nearly every cut. I have never felt so centered, heard, or confident in my hair then when I left his salon. My experiences with other hairstylists have been that they tell me what’s best for my hair or how to wear it, but Dustin really made sure I was getting the look I wanted. Fantastic service, and I’m excited to work with him again in the future!

I have wavy, frizzy hair, and it’s been a challenge for me to find a stylist who can cut and style it in a way that truly compliments me. But Dustin completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I sat in his chair, I felt seen and understood. Dustin’s level of care, attention to detail, and artistic skill is unmatched. He took the time to understand my hair’s texture, my styling challenges, and what would suit my features best. The way he works behind the scissors is pure magic—honestly, it’s like sorcery! Not only is Dustin insanely talented as a hairstylist, but he’s also such an incredible person to talk to. The conversations we had while he worked on my hair were so deep and meaningful. Sitting in his chair felt like talking to a close friend, confidant, and even a therapist. He has such a genuine and kind spirit, which makes the experience even more special. I left his chair feeling more confident, polished, and genuinely happy than I have in a long time. If you’re looking for someone who’s as talented as they are thoughtful, Dustin is your person.
