They’ve been in business since 1997 but due to fire and covid they closed and now they’re back I just tried basic services like shampoo and blow dry, manicure & pedicure

1 /5 Kamesh Mamidipudi: This is just another salon that you cannot trust. After getting a service from the same stylist many times before, I went in today but she was not there and I was attended to by someone else. Now they say the price is $10 higher and that my stylist was not charging correctly! When I said “This is not right and I will not come back”, the woman simply said “ok, thank you”! A customer walking away dissatisfied means nothing to them. I am sick of these unreliable shops! Just when I thought I finally had a good thing going. Save yourself such headaches and take your business elsewhere.

Sola Salon Studios - Fremont

Sarah L Salalila: Bought a Groupon here to see Styled by Carmen to get a hair cut. Seems like a scam to me. Shes had over 100 reviews over the past couple of years and sounds like she advertised in Groupon and Living Social. Anyways, she tries to play the sympathy card when she expresses that she pays so much for renting her spot ( $400/week) and then tells you that there are extra fees she has to charge me bc my hair is thick and long. ( My hair is not thick, but long.) She charged me double my Groupon which didnt make sense bc it comes out to be "regular" price. On top of that, she charged me an additional amount for using my credit card. And while shes cutting my hair, she is criticizing how uneven my hair is. ( Everyones hair grows unevenly and thats why they need to get it cut which is why Im there so... ?) And when she cuts the ends of my hair, she cut it straight, without "texturing" the ends. To top it all off, when she was done she put oil on her hands and then applied them to my roots which left me a greasy head of hair which made it look like I didnt shower since it was parting on the top. Lesson learned. NEVER. AGAIN.

Kim Prosciutto: I have been going to Brenda for 25 years!! Not only do I drive two hours one way just to have her do my hair, but shes consistently keeping up on current styles, colors, and products. Ive become ill in the last 10 years with a chronic and debilitating disease, but Brenda goes out of her way to accommodate my schedule since I have to depend on others to drive me. I get so many compliments on my hair because she makes it look so natural. BRENDA SHOULD GET TEN STARS!!!!

Chi Wong: Cutting Edge is a welcoming hair salon with experienced and friendly stylists. Jennifer helped me out with a number one fade mens haircut with an accessory line, and it looks really good! The parking lot is a bit small, but when I went in the morning, more than half the spaces were open. The space inside also feels very inviting with the green murals and many house plants. This is my second time visiting, and I would definitely go again.
