5 /5 Sofia Bartos: Dr. Fong and his dental hygienist staff are the best. My family has been going for a while and each time without a fail we get excellent service. They really care about making me feel comfortable during the visit and are good at explaining what I need to do to keep up with my oral health. I get personalized service each time I go and feel as if I were part of the family.

My niece referred me and I went and had my two teeth fixed and he did an amazing job, I felt nothing, he was quick and efficient and I will be recommending him to everyone I know! Beautiful office, kind staff and great care.

5 /5 Isabella Bartos: Dental Center of Atherton is an incredible dental practice. Without fail, every time I visit I am left feeling like I have the tools to take care of my dental health. The staff at this center are friendly and very helpful, particularly Dr. Brian. I will be recommending this place to my family.

3 /5 John Hartmann: Update: Office manager got back to my partner and offered a full refund, which was appreciated. Hopefully staff will be trained to communicate more clearly to prospective patients about their out-of-network status. Original review: Deceptive and potentially illegal billing practices. My partner asked over the phone, "Do you accept Delta Dental insurance?" Their response, "Yes. We accept Delta Dental." My partner asked again when she arrived for the appointment, "Can you confirm that everything will be covered by my insurance." The response, "Yes. Your insurance will cover your cleaning." She then was told during her x-rays that she would pay up front for the visit and discovered at check out that she was expected to pay $681 out of pocket for a routine cleaning. When she was able to speak with the billing person she was told, "Oh, we accept Delta Dental as an out-of-network provider. You pay up front and your insurance will reimburse you." They should know that previous answers were deceptive. Of note, Delta Dentals total reimbursement was $56.

5 /5 Jen Woo: I transitioned to DCA from a dentist that I had been going to for years and a practice that was minutes away from my home that I adored. They really took care of me there so it was a big and slightly emotional decision to leave. However, DCA came highly recommended by a friend, and I was due for an appointment so I decided to give it a try. To say I was floored by my experience is an understatement. They were incredibly open and worked with me on scheduling and needs, the office is beautiful--modern and sleek with thoughtful details for both comfort and hygiene. It was the attention to detail paired with in-house amenities, however, that sold me. Dr. Fong takes a holistic approach for whole care not just for your teeth. With the latest in dental tech, hes able to do thorough scans and pinpoint things that tie in to sleep apnea, snoring, grinding, and even cancer. In my 38 years, Ive never had a dentist talk to me about my overall wellbeing. From x-rays to cleaning to an in-house lab with 3-D printing where they make everything (like my night guard) to cavities (they have a nifty device that takes care of cavities incredibly fast with no drilling), it’s just all so thoughtful, convenient, and painless. There’s even coffee and water in the airy waiting area with a cozy fireplace and counter seating to fill out any forms, or even just borrow their Wi-Fi for a moment. Love everything about DCA!
