Gunson, DDS, MD - Santa Barbara Scott S: I wanted to reflect on my experience a bit before writing a review. Firstly, Dr. Gunson is clearly a very skilled physician as it relates to jaw surgery (as he is typically included in lists Ive seen of top surgeons for that in the country). For that reason, you will probably have to wait a little bit longer to see him, but in my opinion, it is well worth it and Im very pleased with his care.
I will say that my particular case is probably more complex than average given a lot of dental work Ive had done and I definitely suspect hes had to spend more time on me than the average patient (for reasons I wont elaborate on here) which I regret. I am grateful that he took on my case and so far Ive very pleased with the results and to finally address these issues that have bothered me for some time (since my late teens).
A lot of people online ask about the financial aspects of jaw surgery and I must admit it is daunting for many of us and yes, you will probably spend somewhat more with a surgeon as in-demand as Dr. Gunson, but given the level of care and expertise, I would do it all over again. That said, as with any surgeon doing jaw surgery, you should be prepared for a significant investment though each case is different.
Lastly, what I will say that what I really have appreciated about Dr. Gunson is that he is extremely down-to-Earth and not arrogant in any way like some doctors are and he is very generous with his time from what I have seen. He also has a great staff that have all been friendly and helpful (Lori especially who has been so great) and I have really appreciated their support throughout this process.
Nancy Trinh, DDS and Associates - San Jose Le Nguyen: I visit this place because I believe reviwer who gave this place 5 star. But It is very very disappointed. My appt is 3:30pm and I check out at 3:45pm include check up and cleaning. So, how clean is it???? I dont know. I could tell you my RDH today is Marlyn. She is very careless, cleaning very fast with uncarefully, She poked my gum with electrical scaler without said sorry. She polish the teeth very quick too. Because she didn’t cover every tooth face. my cleaning service done in 10min.
It was so horrible experience with her. I feel so bad when this place hired her and she got paid by patient without shameful.

I am happy with their team. The manager solve this issue with professional. They care about patient’s satisfy. I was back for cleaning again with RDH Crystal. She did a great job. She is carefully when clean my sensitive teeth area. I am so glad to see her.
Capitol Dental Group - San Jose Jesus Aguilar-Sanchez: Every one is really friendly and nice. There dentist appointment are quick trust me the most youll have to wait is like 3 minutes but other than that is quick. They tend to your needs quick only thing which is probably my own judgement is medical wont cover certain specialties but other then that atmosphere is great they respect their clients and their needs. Is a little bit crazy I never heard of this dental facility but is pretty good should advertise more or expand your offices more and give your dentist and dental assistance more of pay for the great service they provide.
Autumn Smile Dental - San Jose Vofking Tigris: If you seek a paramount dental treatment experience, I highly recommend visiting this place. They provide transparent pricing for all their services, ensuring cost clarity. The customer service is exceptionally amiable, and the office is clean and well-maintained. Most importantly, the establishment employs highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals who are adept at providing top-notch dental care. I have been frequenting this dental office for a couple of years and have consistently received exceptional service.
San Jose Dental Care - San Jose Discounts C: Dr. William does a good job of explaining things in simple, easy-to-understand terms. However, he charges upwards of $80 just to write a prescription, which feels excessive. The most disappointing aspect, though, was the outdated X-ray equipment at his clinic. The machine seems to be from the early 1900s, and the X-ray images we received were incredibly unclear. Typically, dental X-rays should show the entire tooth, from the crown to the root, but his images didn’t even capture the roots. When we showed these X-rays to several other dentists, they all deemed them non-diagnostic and unusable. Based on this experience, I wouldnt recommend his services to friends or family.
Fun Dental Care - San Jose Bianca: Overall, upbeat staff. However, I had a terrible experience with Dr. A and her assistant. Most of the time I was uninformed about the care I was receiving until either it was the last minute or I asked. And I wouldnt have known what to even ask had I not done me own research. Ive never had to advocate for my own health so hard the way I did with Dr. A, mainly because she was more interested in doing what she wanted instead of being clear on my options and endorsing my autonomy over my own healthcare. She came off as passive aggressive and pushy. I couldnt wait to finish my time there.The other doctors seemed caring and well-skilled, though.
Toothscaler Dental: Kevin Vu, DDS - San Jose Eray Jahan: After seeking the expertise of over 20 dentists for the surgical extraction of my wisdom tooth, I was met with frustration as they all offered appointments no sooner than two months away. Thankfully, I stumbled upon Dr. Kevin Vu, who not only accommodated me with a same-day appointment but also skillfully performed the challenging surgery with utmost professionalism. I can confidently say he is an outstanding and highly competent doctor.
I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kevin Vus services to everyone in need of dental care. I am so impressed with his abilities that I would give him ten stars if I could, but unfortunately, five stars will have to suffice. Thank you, Dr. Vu, for providing such exceptional care and service!
