5 /5 Keith Ference: I have Dr. Gonzales as my primary doctor and I would highly recommend him. He is the first doctor where I just dont feel like I am a number. He takes an extra amount of time to go over all of my test results, as well as asking me lots of questions on how I am feeling. I have never had a primary doctor take this much time with me. You can tell he truly cares about his patients. His staff is always very friendly and helpful.

5 /5 Jeffrey Cipcic: I began coming to this office 2 years ago after moving to the valley. I have lived with AIDS for 37 years and was with the same Infectious Disease Doc in Michigan for 25 years, so I was terrified at the thought of finding healthcare in SoCal as I had been told it can be a nightmare. Dr. Gonzales is an independent office so it took a little getting used to not being in a large teaching hospital like my last doc. The office is in a great location. Cindy, the office manager, and CC, Dr. G’s Assistant, are competent, helpful and friendly. I really appreciate what they do for their patients. Dr. Gonzalez has been fantastic. (I have read through all these reviews and I must say, I have witnessed some pretty snarky patient’s to both the staff and Dr. G. when they are being patient and kind). I appreciate a leader that sticks up for their team and doesn’t allow disrespect and as most can and should understand, hiring and retaining good help is very difficult. I am a bit of a complicated case. In addition to AIDS, I also suffered a stroke over 10 years ago so managing that component of my health care as well as HIV can be tricky. I am also approaching the big 6-0 so there have been lots of tests that have needed to be run. He has been amazing! Organized, prepared, proactive as well as an excellent communicator….even when he needs to manage time (I understand I’m not his only patient, but I’m a talker, so there was a visit he had to gently tell me we could only cover these certain items at that visit) which anyone should understand. In March I contracted a nasty case of COVID while back in Michigan that lead to pneumonia and some time in the hospital. When I was able to fly home, Dr. G took the reins and did an incredible job of getting me back in good shape. It was incredibly scary but I felt confident he had my back. And he did. I have been extremely happy (and grateful) with Dr. Gonzales and his team (and I’ve seen a LOT of docs over the years) and would highly recommend him as both PCP and an ID provider.

Susan Robbins: It was 21yrs in October since I became a patient at the Comprehensive Cancer Center. I had breast cancer 21yrs ago and I had a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. I received wonderful treatment and care. Ive never stopped being a patient and see an oncologist every 6 months and have all my screenings and scans done there. My breast cancer returned last year and it was diagnosed at an early stage. I chose to have a mastectomy. Again, wonderful care and treatment. When youve been a continuous patient somewhere for 21yrs, you get a very strong feeling for the place. I feel no fear when I enter the building. I know Im going to receive the best treatment possible and that puts my mind at ease.

Anthony Marshall: The front desk girls and the Medical assistant (Melissa) were great! All greeted me with a smile. Melissa took my vitals and asked me questions about my symptoms and how long have I had them I explained that I just got over the cold a week in a half ago. Then I had got a sinus infection with a small cough, runny and stuffy nose, and a small sore throat. She asked about any headaches or fevers and Im like nope any pain and Im like nope. And she says ok let do your vitals and vitals came out great no fever nothing. Then the Dr came in shortly after he comes and sees me sitting on that bed with paper on it because thats where the patient usually sits. And I was like youre here to see me. Right off the bat I knew this doctor wasnt going to treat me for any of the symptoms Im having. He then begins to ask what are your symptoms and began explaing all my symptoms. Keep in mind Im not having any flu or covid like symptoms at all. He automatically assumed it was ok to test me for it. He didnt like in my throat or use the stesiscope to listen to my breathing he didnt feel around my glans if they were puffy nothing. He then proceeded to say so when has the symptoms worsen and I was like worsen i didnt say that my symptoms are not all that bad just regular sinus infection with a bit of a sore throat, small cough, and runny/stuffy nose thats. No pain and I was like I told you no pain no headaches no fevers. Hes like well Im treating you as covid and Im like Im telling you its not because wouldve have come sooner. Just test me for strep throat he says no Im testing you for covid and strep through because thats what it is. I then found out by the Pharmacy that I got pain medication not medication for my sinus infection. Never coming here again!!!!!!

Karen Childress: I can’t believe these people are in the behavioral health business! They called to tell me my therapist is no longer available 4 days before our appointment. I’ve seen this therapist for 8 months. No closure, no concern about me , just abruptly said she’s no longer with Desert Oasis and we will be out sourcing your care. Really this is what I pay for. Then I am placed with a therapist who doesn’t read my chart or notes and drones on about all of her experience, I’m assuming that if you’re my new therapist with Desert Oasis your qualified. She then proceeds to ask me about how my dad died ( old age) but wants to know how???? He was 90 , if I needed to talk about him I would. NO WHERE in the notes would be anything concerning my father. Again what is happening, why am I wasting my time with this woman…the lack of professionalism and organization is astonishing. I’m changing my insurance, of course, if I can . Meanwhile while I’m on hold their advertising QAULITY care, really????

Today they called and said they are no longer taking new patients on that day and would have to reschedule me to March 30, 2025. Awful experience for new patients, they dont have enough providers. Stay away and go see someone at West Dermatology instead!

Miguel Ramirez: Last year dr Jamison did a hiatal hernia repair. From The beginning Doctor Jamison treated me very poorly with a bad attitude. He did what I now was told was an unnecessary Incision opening me from Upper abdomen to belly button which I must say Was very painful during recovery And the Tylenol for pain that he prescribed me didnt even come close to Helping. He did not even attempt to fix the hernia. And the sleeve put on my asophagus slipped. I assume by the second week. Cause thats when I started feeling bad again. His solution was eat more yogurt. I had to sleep practically sitting up I started having Back pain issues, fluid Would come up my asophagus for no apparent reason. I was a 100% worse. Needless to say, I just got my new surgery a week ago to Fix everything he did. It took my new surgeon 6 hours. To fix and Repair. My Colon was out of line. My stomach pushed aside, which started sticking to the inner wall. I dont know if I was one in a million That he screwed up with or if he just didnt like me, but just be careful. Do your homework on him.

Leticia Perkins: Dr Kostich was the only one that was able to diagnose my mom. I went two times this month to Temecula Valley Hospital and was told there was nothing wrong with my mom. Finally I had to call 911 after she was screaming in pain and the MR took my mom to Inland Valley. in the ER Dr Kostich and Dr Yusutaly told me it was her artery and she could have lost her sight if not treated properly. I am very thankful for them. I had two weeks of not getting help and they were able to read the results that were taken in Temecula and all the other doctors didn’t see.
