Robin Powell is my preferred hairstylist. She has great techniques and is very detailed in my haircuts. She always makes my hair look amazing and gives advice on my hair style and texture.
Studio K Hair Designory - Pasadena Lauren H: I had an amazing experience with my hair and makeup stylist Jenny. I needed my hair and makeup done for my engagement photos, and Jenny gave me the perfect look for my outfit. It was so easy to book with them and their prices are very fair for what you receive. I flew in to LA and am getting married in Austin, otherwise I would have totally hired Jenny for my day-of hair and makeup.

Iām writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at your Pasadena location. I had a scheduled appointment, but upon arrival, I was informed that it had been canceled. This was especially upsetting as I had rearranged my schedule and made significant efforts to attend.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time Iāve encountered such an issue. Itās frustrating to feel that thereās a lack of communication and accountability in these situations, which reflects poorly on the level of service. Itās not just the inconvenienceāitās the sense that my time and loyalty as a customer are not being valued.
I also want to highlight an imbalance in how cancellations and delays are handled. If I cancel, I am charged a $25 fee, and if I am late, my appointment is canceled. Yet when your team cancels or is running late, I am expected to accommodate delays of 30 minutes to an hour without consideration for my schedule.
I truly hope this feedback encourages your team to make improvements to the scheduling and communication process. Iāve always appreciated your services, but consistency and respect for clientsā time are just as important as the quality of your work.

The salon itself is super cute and well decorated, plus tons of easy and free parking in the attached lot.

Lead Salon - Pasadena Janine Cortez: I have trusted Marco with my hair for 13 years. I am also a hairstylist, so that says a lot about his skillset. He is a master of all cuts, but my personal favorites are his pixies (super hard to find a good pixie cutter) and fantastic bobs. He is also known for his exceptional BARBERING on all hair textures.
