5 /5 Lynn Jimenez: I had an issue with my drive belt while traveling through Monterey. Chet and Robert were incredibly helpful. They got me in right away, and had the repair complete with in a few hours. Chet even figured out what the problem with the belt pulley was in order to prevent the problem from happening again. Like many people, I walk into an auto repair shop with a bit of mistrust. It was comforting to feel confident in their work and ethical business practices.

5 /5 Sinan Nurdogan: We were several thousand miles in our tour across the country when one of the spark plugs in our camper van went bad. It was very bad with continuous engine misfires and a strong gasoline smell. We knew enough about cars to know it was a spark plug but the condition seemed to be unusual as it was very sudden. We pull over right away to a town just south of where Mikes auto is located and diagnosed the bad spark plug on our own. We spent the Friday night trying to replace the coil and spark plug on our own to no avail. The next morning we started calling the repair shops around the town to get an estimate since we knew it was a spark plug with a bad thread and either they were extremely expensive or didnt know about the situation as they kept asking simple questions that didnt make sense at all. Then we called Mike and he picked up on the first call. Within seconds he understood what was wrong with the plug and said he had the appropriate tools to fix it, and that he was open until 9 PM. He also quoted us a much more fair repair fee than other shops around the town. Our specific car was a Ford 150, and it was extremely hard to reach the plug that had the issue. He did not try to upcharge us like any other mechanic would do so. He honored his original price even though he spent the entire day fixing the issue. Overall this might have been the best mechanic experience Ive had. Mike is truly a guy that knows what hes doing and wont try to cheat you. Highly recommend him to anyone.

5 /5 Ron Tang: I am a recent customer at Mikes Auto. Chet, the owner/main mechanic does good work and dependable. His price is also very competitive to other shops. Hes quite busy but still provides great service. Will go back to him again for my auto works.

5 /5 Alison Lindemann: My son is a student and CSUMB and we live in LA. His car broke down so we were looking for help in that area. I left a message for Mikes Auto early Saturday morning. They called me back quickly and said they would look at my sons car that morning . We had it towed, they called me back several hours later to provide a quote and indicated they would need to get a part from the dealer. I then received a call Sunday morning that the car was ready! Great service and honesty. I highly recommend!!!
