He is the best I had a thyroiectomy and I was scared and very nervous and he explained every single thing about my surgery and what to expect and answered all my questions I felt very safe with him and the end results were absolutely amazing I dont have a big scar and the whole surgery experience was also amazing my pain level was not even that bad !! Again thank you Dr Howard u are the best !!

5 /5 Inner WellnessSB: I recently had parathyroid removal by Dr Howard and cannot Thank him enough for his Excellent care, warmth and kindness. I was really stressed about the experience, but he made me feel so much better prior To the surgery and did an excellent job. His willingness to take the time to explain and answer all my questions was such a comfort. This doctor is a thoughtful and considerate man with great knowledge and sincere bedside manners. Dr. Howard is a unique gift to his patients. I highly recommend him. ❤️

1 /5 Kelly Sans: Dr. Benjamin Howard is anti-pain meds. So if you want minimal to no pain meds after surgery and to be in pain immediately after surgery then go to this dr. When I asked for more pain meds I was told I had to wait until I picked up from pharmacy (I live out of town so 2 hours away). I basically had to get dressed and leave while in pain and be driven 2 hours to get any relief. The pain med he gave was the minimum amount that could be given and if taken as directed you would be out by day 2! The nurse said day 3-5 are the worst for hernias (I had hernia surgery). He pushed taking ibprophen and Tylenol only and if still pain then use the pain med. Well when I did all 3 I did great. But that isnt what the doctor wants you to do - he wants you to be in pain and take no pain pills. I called to request a few more from nurse since I would be out as of day 2. Mind you I am asking for 5mg (smallest amount which was given). I was made to feel like an addict. After 4 calls back and forth no pain meds were given. I have no history of any addictions just wanted to not feel the pain. I have never gotten out of surgery and expected to stay in pain. This doctor does not believe in pain meds so if you have a low pain tolerance or you just want to not feel pain - THEN THIS ISNT THE DOCTOR FOR YOU! I wont recommend to anyone nor will I return.

5 /5 Gordon F: Dr. Howard is exceptionally skilled, compassionate, and dedicated to his craft. For me, the whole process from pre-op through the surgery and post-op care couldnt have been better, If youre looking for a surgeon, rest assured that you will be in good hands with Dr. Howard.
