She even worked with me to make sure my hair was finished on time for another appointment I had that same day. Her work is neat and her prices are fair for whatever type of hair you may have. Braids, locs, weaves, natural hair, nonethnic hair---Maes can do it all. My go to is long knotless braids. Her salon stays clean and exudes warmth. A/C?...well...maybe... WHAT KIND OF STAFF IS IT? She hires highly qualified employees that understand braiding etc. is a craft. Her staff are professional and they get the job done in the most efficient time possible for the style you request. SHOULD I WASH MY HAIR FIRST? Because shes also a cosmetologist she is certified to do washing prior to braiding. However, that would be an additional fee. Rarely does someone have their hair washed before braiding AT the salon. But be respectful and wash your hair prior to getting your hair done. Okaaaay. Yet, if youre getting locs retightening or natural hair braiding, washing may be considered typical. All stylists smile and speak. Most speak English. Especially noted men love Maes work.
