Hannah has truly been a breath of fresh air. From the 1st appointment, she’s been incredibly precise, friendly, and understanding of what I want. Every visit is a relaxing experience, and she’s so consistent with delivering exactly what I’m hoping for, if not better. I’ve been going to her for years now, and she’s the only stylist I’ve ever trusted enough to do whatever she wants with my hair because I know I’m in the best hands!
Hair Sudio_1405 - Chico Star Smith: Very disappointed. This was my first time booking an appointment here. My normal salon was full. Services here were a little more expensive, but I have an important event coming up so I took a chance. Appointment was at 4:45 pm. I showed up to the salon and my stylist was not there. I then received a text stating she was running late and if we can reschedule to 5:30pm. I wasn’t happy as I drove down from Paradise and didn’t have anywhere to go, but I agreed and did some light shopping to kill some time. I arrived back at the salon at 5:38pm to find my stylist was still not there. I texted her and let her know I was there and got no response. I waited until 5:50 pm!! I finally texted and told her I could no longer wait as I had a babysitter and had to get home. As I was leaving the stylist finally responded asking me to wait 5 more minutes. And stating she would do my hair really fast….. no ma’am, I don’t want someone rushing through my cut. This service was $150..I get better treatment at Great Clips. So unprofessional. Don’t waste your time at this salon. They clearly don’t hold their stylists to any kind of standard.
HAIR.HAUS - Chico Regan Seeman: I love this salon and its stylists. It is always very well kept, cleanly, and new ownership caused for an updated design. I have seen 2 different stylists in this salon over the past 6 years and loved both of them! My hair always turns out exactly as I wanted it.
Poppy & Pine Hair Co. - Chico Liz Purull: Julia did an amazing job during my appointment! Even with all my ambiguity around what I exactly wanted to do with my hair, she was able to apply her knowledge, skills and creativity to produce amazing results for me. Julia brought back so much texture, volume and life to my incredibly dry and damaged hair. Personable, professional and just all around kind and caring, I’d highly recommend Julia for your next appointment!
Society Style Lounge - Chico jingyu wang: I got my haircut from Bill, he did amazing job, and he made my hair style based on my face shape, I look younger 10 years after he cut my hair. Thank you!
Meraki Hair Studio - Chico LA Mcd: Veronica is a pro! She diagnosed and is curing my haircut at another place. Im feeling better about my hair and lucky to have discovered Meraki.
Satori Color & Hair Design - Chico Wendy DM: Dana at Satori has cut & colored my curly hair for over 10 years. She knows how to shape considering hair type and facial features. She is known for her skill in coloring and highlights. Her salon has always been a happy place with satisfied customers and collegial stylists. Shes one of the best in town!
Hair Is - Chico Tiffany T.: This was my first time going to an actual salon. I was so very pleased with the price! On top of that my hair cut is AMAZING!! Mai did a wonderful job!!! I have hair with many different textures (straight, wavy, curly) and she did excellent making look even all the way around my head. I took off about 4 inches. She was very nice also. I will go here every single time I want a cut.
True Colors Salon - Chico Marieka Stam: Stephanie is such a gem! She has been my hair stylist for many years and I recommend her to everyone. She takes the time to truly understand what you want to achieve with your cut and color. She is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and precise and asks helpful questions. She also has great suggestions if you need ideas. I love that my blond highlights are always expertly blended and look natural. She is also skilled at cutting curly hair. Stephanie is super sweet and kind and we always have great conversations. I absolutely love her new salon too! It is beautifully decorated and has a peaceful, relaxing ambience.

Ive been seeing Mel for about 1.5 years now and I cannot thank her enough for all the tips and professional advice. I dont enjoy hair appointments because Im awkward in social settings at times but Mellow Mel made me feel comfortable and quite honestly could fall asleep. My hair has grown so well and has never been healthier + blonde :) her products are amazing! They smell so divine but not overwhelming or artificial scented. Mel has created a wonderful space for her clients and her fellow gals working there who have been nothing but welcoming and respectful. HIGHLY recommend this hair lounge.
