This hospital is where my cancerous tumor was first discovered, and I owe Kyles diligence and taking my pain seriously to helping me catch it in Stage 1. Im so grateful!
UC Davis Medical Group Folsom - Folsom D. None: I want to specifically call out Dr. Montemayor and Dr. Kelly. I went to Dr. Montemayor and told her that I needed an ultrasound that included my appendix. She acknowledged this and proceeded to place an order that didnt include my appendix. This is after the first doctor Dr. Kelly failed to order a comprehensive ultrasound when I told her I had side pain. Then when I asked for a Cologuard test she doesnt give them my insurance information, so it doesnt ship. When I asked for a saline sonogram, Dr. Kelly couldnt manage to order that correctly either. Then when I complained to patient relations last week that nobody had gotten back to me on the incorrect ultrasound and sent Dr. M a message, no one still got back to me. Shame on UC Davis and shame on these two doctors - who dont give a shit when youre in pain. Note to anyone reading this. You need to report them to the medical board to get them to respond to messages. I plan on doing that.
Family Medicine: Anderson Road Care Center: Sutter Medical Group - Davis Xingsheng Ma: I recently had an extremely unsatisfactory experience at this hospital. My appointment was scheduled for 10 am, but unfortunately, due to a mistake on my part, I arrived at the wrong location and subsequently was late. Upon arriving, the front desk staff informed me that it was not possible to be seen by a doctor due to my tardiness. While I understand the policy regarding late arrivals, how this message was conveyed was highly inappropriate and unprofessional.
The staff member at the front desk, while offering to reschedule the appointment, displayed a marked impatience and a discourteous attitude throughout our interaction. This behavior escalated when I sought to clarify the time for the next available appointment. Instead of responding professionally, she raised her voice and yelled at us.
Her conduct was not only distressing but also created a hostile and uncomfortable environment. It is disheartening and unacceptable to encounter such rudeness and unprofessionalism, especially in a healthcare setting where professionalism and empathy are paramount. This experience was, without a doubt, the most negative and disconcerting I have ever had in any medical facility. The behavior of this staff member, particularly her lack of professionalism and courtesy, seriously undermines the quality of service at this hospital and should be addressed immediately.
