They did a good job first a few times I brought my car in My husband always took care of this stuff, but now it was up to me When I went on vacation, my son had a problem with his car and took it into the shop. My son is only 22 years old. Mr Le Told him the repairs were gonna be $2200. I was not there since I was the one that usually talk with Mr. Le I felt like he took advantage of my son because when I asked for the details, he showed me a little bag of parts. And I could not believe that this was $2200 This was the last time I would ever take my car here again.

Yixin Luo Outstanding Lexus/Toyota Hybrid Service I recently brought my Lexus RX450h to SLT Auto Repair for its 120,000-mile maintenance, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced with Toyota and Lexus vehicles — especially hybrids. They performed a comprehensive service including oil change, spark plugs, transmission and coolant service (including the hybrid inverter system), and even cleaned the throttle body. They used OEM parts and explained everything clearly without any upselling. The pricing was very fair for the scope of work, especially compared to the dealership. It’s hard to find a shop that knows hybrids this well, and SLT clearly specializes in Toyota/Lexus systems. My car is running smoother than ever — I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled mechanic in the South Bay!

Pranav Ramarao Amazing experience! I am just another software guy in the bay area, looking for ways to fix an issue I had with my BMW 340i. I was exploring auto services in and around SVL/MTV and came across Lozano. Usually when I see such positive reviews (all close to 5 stars), I am a little skeptical and always think the reviews are faked of sort. Either way, I decided to give this place a shot. My BMWs under car shield had torn apart and BMW quoted high fees to replace them. When I went there, Vince first came out to inspect the car. Vince took the car inside, put it on the machine that lifted my car up. With this, we were able to clearly see what the damage was. Vince and Troy together spent time removing the torn parts out so that my car was at least in a drivable condition. They spent 15 minutes, passionately explaining various parts of the undercover shield. After that, they told me precisely which parts I needed to replace, which was fewer than what BMW had asked for. After this was done, Vince just lowered my car and said I was set to go, NOT EVENING ASKING FOR ANY $. I was stunned and very pleasantly surprised. They never charge you without knowing any upfront costs. In this case, I felt they definitely deserved to be paid so I decided I would come back to them with the new parts and pay them then. As promised, I came back with the new parts I purchased from BMW and once again, Vince and his team fixed it for me at a very low cost. Brian Shiu ~2 year update - still going strong! -------------------------------------------------------- The transmission on our Toyota Siena van with 145k miles went out on New Years Eve. Brought it to Walter at Flores transmission. He diagnosed and said it’d be best to get a remanufactured one. Given the costs of cars today we figured it was best to fix. A few days later he had it up and running. We did have a hiccup after the initial pick up but Walter took care of the issue quickly. We’re 200 miles in and seems to be running super smooth.

J G A wonderful family business that solved the brake problem with my truck. I have all my service records for my truck so Walter and I went for a test drive and then he reviewed what had already been done to the brakes and he only replaced what was needed. There was no upselling or pushing to fix anything else. It was OEM parts and the price was fair too. I will definitely be going back and recommending them to my family and friends.

And also checked engine fluids, windshield wipers, and even did a test drive before handing it off! He is reliable, reasonably priced, and overall easy to work with. Anup Patil The owner is unprofessional, dismissive and dishonest. I went there for an oil change service and brought my own oil and filter. He still charged me a higher price and barely communicated for anything I asked. Also, at the end of the service when I asked him for the remainder of the unused oil he lied to me and said it is in the car only to realize later that it was not the case. Overall it was a bad experience.

Catherine Lambeth I took my cars to Don & Johns Automotive for years before they closed. Truman Auto Services is the same location with many of the same mechanics. They are always attentive, thorough, and fairly priced. I especially recommend them for older cars or lesser-known brands that could use an independent mechanic!

Le Betts Quality work with true integrity. 15 years ago, my transmission went out less than a week before I had to report to my first duty station in TX. They went beyond my expectations and were able to get it done so I could report on time. I am back in the Bay and have recently had work done on a 22 year old Tahoe. Not only did they take care of my known issues, once again, they let me know of other maintenance issues and did some little extras. Bean Lou Cheap and reliable!!!! Sergio is an extremely excellent and patient mechanic. He carefully inspected the water leakage problem of my car. He spent several hours over ten hours inspecting and repairing my car, but only charged me for three hours of labor. He really considered me a lot. Strongly recommended!

Jack Erwin I dont write many reviews. My mechanic, Dave, at The Car Doctors and Tire Pros recommended Sunnyvale Auto Repair for damage I sustained to the rear bumper and right side of my car. If Ray is an example of the service, honesty and care for his customers and their safety then they deserve the highest rating. Ray was very articulate about my choices and repair options, and left it up to me to decide. His attention to detail and communicating clearly was extremely helpful. I have already recommended Sunnyvale Auto/Body repair to my family and friends, and have thanked my mechanic for his recommendation. Jack

Jing Huang Moe help fixed my engine shaking problem which is nice. But later on I realized the money they charged me is absurdly high. They charged me 34$ for each single spark plugs and 189$ for spark plug wire. I went to another repair shop and they told me they only charge about 13$ for the best spark plugs on my Miata and about 60$ for spark plugs wire. I would only suggest this shop if you live near it and your car condition doesn’t allow you to go to another.

Shelby Triplitt I have since moved out of state, but brought my car here for quite a while before I did. I never had a bad experience and Scott and Lalo were always honest and patient with me asking endless questions. Im not a car person so some things needed a lot of explaining. I was trying to keep my now 20 year old prius going for as long as possible and Scott helped me figure out the most cost efficient repairs to do and explained why. I trust them enough that I called the other day to get an opinion of recommended work from the new mechanic where I live now. I cant recommend them enough. Thanks again for all the help! David Kesting Messi and his crew are top notch talent willing to work on older cars. I recommend using them. I have been taking my 1964 Ford in to maintain and replace older parts I find online. They have been super helpful keeping her running well. He doesn’t mess around though so if you say something and commit to it, you need to follow through. That of course is expected in this world, but I think people forget that and expect others to manage your flakiness for you, and he won’t.
