Joshua Jeffrey I came here after I went to the smog place across the street. They were absolutely fair, quick and professional. I spoke with the owner. He was a very nice man that cares about customers and the quality of work. I highly recommend ACA for your automotive needs.

Steve Witt My 1974 Chevy C-10 wouldnt start & I had it towed to ACA Automotive!!! Normally they dont work on older vehicles but Adam was very gracious in letting me have it evaluated at ACA!!! He kept me appraised at all times about costs & repairs necessary!!! They diagnosed my problem as being with my carburetor/choke!!! I was able to drive it home!!! Im still debating whether to just get a new carburetor or have this one rebuilt??? But thank you to Adam & his team for their excellent customer service!!!

Rudy Huezo Ghassem’s Service Center in the LBC provides amazing service for a fair price! I was referred to them by a neighbor and I’m glad I called and took my Prius in for service. The catalytic converter was stolen and I priced out a few service shops including Toyota (you can only buy the part from Toyota!) I stopped by Ghassem’s and their price for parts a labor was a lot less than the others. They were very courteous and knowledgeable and kept their word - which is very important to me. They also installed a metal shield that I purchased from CAT to hopefully thwart any future attempts to steal the catalytic converter.

Ashleigh Cole Ive been bringing my cars here for something like 15 years. They always treat me fairly and do great work. Theyre very good about explaining what the problem is and to let me know what should be prioritized vs what can wait (and how long it can wait for), have even done a few things for no charge when it was something small that didnt require a lot of time or parts, and their prices are very reasonable. We recently had to replace our transmission, the dealership wanted $11K. Our guy here went above and beyond, tracking down a refurbished transmission that was hard to find and they were able to do it for half what the dealership wanted.

Griff All the guys that work here are really nice and straightforward. Ive had my car smogged here two different times and it was always very quick very easy and cheap. They mostly just work on cars but I was able to get their help in tuning up some motorcycle brakes and they also help me diagnose another problem while I was there. Definitely a good spot

M H I called three other places for simple work to be done on my car. One over quoted, two couldnt do all that was needed (very surprising). I looked up the videos and knew I could do it myself but just didnt have the space or time. Daniel here was receptive with great communication and service. Had it done in 4 hours same day.

Slayer89 Since moving out here and being new to the area i needed me and my wife’s cars maintenanced, I looked around for auto shops and stumbled on John’s auto repair and gave it a shot .. it was the best decision I made… Jason and his team of mechanics are honest and straight forward of your car’s needs at reasonable prices and since then I’ve never taken my cars anywhere I highly recommend this place.

FBA LeadsUS Stumbled upon this place being a newer resident to Long Beach and suddenly acquiring a flat rear for my vehicle. I was hesitant bringing it anywhere besides my normal mechanic, but I knew it needed to be close to avoid extremely costly wheel damage. Seriously couldnt speak higher about Jacob and his team. Being a younger gentleman with an extremely expensive car (especially for the area), I become a bit skeptical as to whether or not I am receiving fair pricing for vehicle related services. Jacob literally took my car in, fixed the flat and did not touch or move the car out of respect for my car. He also took the time to show and give me the nail that was in the car, while explaining the future signs of wear for my tires. Oh and the best part...all for $30. Hes one of the good ones seriously wouldnt think twice about bringing my cars here. I see why his lot is always busy now...will be back soon.

r50r Victor was supposed to remove a snapped bolt from the turbo from my car and instead of removing the turbo assembly decided to take the turbo apart breaking it in the process and never showed up. this guy cost me 2.8k in damages and blocked my number.

Juan Victor was unprofessional and did me a disservice not finishing the job I gave payment to do. I think he doesn’t know how to complete certain jobs and looks on youtube to figure it out because he kept typing things in YouTube when he was trying to fix my vehicle. He said he will be back tomorrow with the parts and never showed up. He won’t answer my calls and when he does he states he had an emergency but never show up. I think he’s a fraud and scammer!!!!

love 2 teach Don and Harolds have been servicing our cars for many, many years now. Over the years, they have worked on our various GMC, Chevrolet, Hyundai, and Toyota automobiles. In addition to routine maintenance, they have been diligent to diagnose problems that were not obvious, and have kept our autos running smoothly and reliably. It is great to have a local mechanic that we completely trust to be honest with us, communicate well with us, and keep us safe on the road. Don and Harolds auto shop is friendly, competent, and professional. We highly recommend them.

Jose Aguayo Brought in my car just after the shop had switched hands for a timing belt replacement. Later checked and the covers are not aligned they crossed threaded one engine mount bolt and now I’m doubting their entire work and wondering what kind of damage this has done to my engine, how much will it cost to fix. I was under the impression that the original Asian car people were still there but I guess not.

Brenda Arellano Not Kool. I called around, this was the cheapest place by a long shot. I took my car, Victor quoted me $1800 for a 60k+ mile used motor, and total $2500. He said he would have it done in 7 days. I was uneasy since I left my car parked on the main street since they didnt have room. I requested pictures of my car inside the shop, the serial # of the motor hes putting in, and some kind of proof of miles, as well as a picture of my motor when they take it out. He told me he worked on it that day. He took $1800 deposit, didnt order the motor. Told me after I asked for proof that he didnt have room for my car. That the car he just finished the motor on was bad and he needed to redo it. He only sent me $1600, I got there and he had to borrow cash from some man on the street there to pay me the remaining $200. I had to move my car which was parked on the street sweeper side, while he and his guys were moving all the other cars as the street sweeper was coming! So only take it here if you want a parking ticket, and honestly have no other choice financially. I took it right after to my trusted mechanic at Long Beach Auto Tech, they are pricey but do an honest good job. They had other jobs and I wanted my car fixed now, but Id rather wait and get it done right. Today is 3-2-22. If you can afford quality, dont go here.
