Shona Cobbs Honest and reliable! My car broke down and I had it towed here. I live about an hour away from Oceanside, so I searched up mechanics and took my chances with one I did not know. I was not disappointed! They ran extra tests that other mechanics don’t in order to diagnose my car. We were in constant communication and let me keep my car there for a week until I was able to pick it up. Both Jorge and Travis were amazing. I highly recommend this shop. Thanks, Jorge!

zinia Chavez Enrique the owner, he was been very honest and reasonable about his pricing. The fact that I have been able to find an A1 auto service makes me feel very grateful. To tell you I pickup my car and I went and park it. Afterwards, and later that day I went drive the vehicle and, hallelujah, the air conditioning was working. It had been five months since my air conditioner stopped working. I had to call him and thank him. He did it at no charge. Next, he corrected the hose that connected to the radiator that had been installed at a different location incorrectly and the hose obstructed access to the dipstick of oil, so I had a difficult time getting the oil serviced by other service provider. In my car, I do look under the hood. Thank you Enrique for an excellent service.

Erik Did an ok (albeit sloppy) job repairing our car, and also scratched our car while working on it. And now is being difficult and not accepting responsibility. I suggest staying away from this place, if possible. 10/21/2022 UPDATE (10/26/2022): After some, difficult back and forth, I was able to get my situation resolved. This time they did a really good job and the car looks great. I still will try somewhere else first next time.

Brea Williams Worst place ever Took my car in because engine was overheating He fixed the fan supposedly then the water pump Told me was ready went to pick it up and car still overheated made me pay another 350 on top of the 780 I’ve already spent to order a new fan supposedly from Ford this time instead of AutoZone. Two weeks later, my gas pedal is completely stalling and it feels crazy to drive and then my engine is overheating. Car tells me to pull over and the whole car just completely stopped functioning at this point and now I wait for a tow company a complete scam like the guy does not even know what he’s doing or else this would’ve been fixed the first time I took it in

Edgar Mendez Came here for a smog check. Had a check engine light on. JC was able to fix the problem and and pass my vehicle for the smog check. JC gave me a positive vibe i didnt felt like I was going to be screwed over, its hard to find good and sincere mechanic. The only downside is that theres no space for over night parking nor a gate for majors repairs on your vehicle. JC is a good auto shop for quick fix issues.

Christian Spangler I came in on a Saturday with a seller to smog a car I was considering buying. We showed up with no appointment and they took us in right away. Unfortunately for us the car did not pass but this shop worked with the seller and I to try and make things work giving us tips to get the car to cycle. They ran the car several times and even stayed late to try and make things work. The best part, because the car could not pass smog at that time, they did not even charge us. Great customer service and a good experience in the face of the disappointment about the car not working out. They will take great care of you here!

Setfourphotographers This place is a rip-off. I went for a smog check with my engine light on for "emission system warning." Not knowing if it would pass, I asked the technician, who claimed he didnt know and needed to check. Later, I found out it would always fail with that light on. The technician made me sign a form agreeing to pay $50 if it failed, which it did. Instead of informing me it wouldnt pass, they took my money. I overheard them laughing and saying, "I told you he would fall for it," assuming I didnt understand Spanish. This place not only scams customers but also mocks them.

Jim Moore I was lucky to find this old school auto electrical genius. I have spent a lot of money with four (4) other shops. He got me in and out and my truck is good as new. I highly recommend this shop.

Iran F On my way to Phoenix, my car’s radiator wouldn’t hold coolant anymore and started overheating. They waited for me after hours to drop it off. I spent the night in a hotel and by the next day they had me on the road with a new radiator. Excellent service provided to out of towners.

jesus m One of the worst places to take your car! I dropped off my car they took my information down I called to verify if they had checked it. They said that the person that works on the A/C was not there. Ok so I gave them couple of days. I called again to see if they had any updates he straight up said I think is the compressor. So I say ok how much would it be to fix it he then said idk let me ask I’ll give you a call. I NEVER got a call back. Two weeks later I go in they didn’t even know my car was there no one checked the car. So I just took my keys and left. Just stay away from this place.
