Steven Pitts I have been coming to Goodguys for years. These guys are always through and authentic. I am pretty mechanically inclined and usually do all my own work on my vehicles. Ill leave tires, brakes and alignments to them. I have never been done wrong. All around, great people and speedy service. 5 stars.

Cameron Gill Chris was incredible. Took me in during a 4th of July weekend that was already busy for him, and stayed working on my 2012 Ford Escape until he figured out what was wrong with the engine while also finding out other areas he recommended I keep an eye on. I’ve never had a mechanic who spent the time he did to show photos and explain mechanisms about the car, and I was grateful for that. He was thorough, communicative, and dedicated. Because of that, I definitely recommend him! But be sure to ask how busy he might be when bringing in your car! I got the sense that the word is getting around about how great of a mechanic he is, so the cars might be lining up. But even if it takes a day or two longer, it’s 100% worth the wait. He did a stellar job all the way through. Thanks Chris!

Tanner Ozuna I had a great experience doing business here. Chris is professional, friendly, and honest. He got my repair done, overcoming the rust and age of my pickup along the way. A metal bracket unexpectedly broke during the repair and he was able to source the part the same day. He gave me recommendations for further maintenance, explaining things very simply. It gave me the confidence to tackle some maintenance on my own these past few weeks. I will be returning for sure.

Georgiana M They charged more than double of the insurance estimate and then didnt even complete all the tasks on the list before returning the vehicle. The main point of the collision wasnt even addressed. And I took them nearly 2 weeks. And my car came back with a new crack and scratches. The areas they did replace were beautiful and Im glad my door shuts fine but the window goes down slowly... -_- unfortunately, I have to take my car back for the last piece but they said it should only take about 15 minutes to switch out. After that, Im done with them. I thought a Clovis shop would be nicer but Im going back to Fresno. Dont tell me my car had scratches everywhere so you can cover up the 3 inch crack you put in it, smh.

I Had to take it back 3 separate occasions after it supposedly was fixed. 5 months, 4 different rentals a huge headache and still issues. Doors were not aligned, insulation was missing, bolts missing, seat belt piece was broke along with other miscellaneous pieces that werent broke to begin with. Do NOT take your car here. My car was in better shape going in then coming out. I was hit on my drivers side causing some significant damage but I could still shut my doors and have a complete seal. After these people working on my car, still to this day 2024 there is air getting in from the work that was done. I will never go back there. Be prepared to contact BAR (Bureau Of Automotive Repair) as Fux Auto have many complaints filed against them for these reasons plus more and you might have to file too. I had to file not only because of the lack of correct work being preformed but charging my insurance for things that were said to be done, that were not. Be aware, be involved and do not trust this place. ITh ephoto prove just how incompetent the work is, absolutely outrageous. The damage from the original car wreck didnt cause so much non functional issues. But after this place getting their hands on my car, I have had nothing but issues ever since getting it back in April of 23 Cant imagine other people having to deal with this, but unfortunately they have. Pictures posted are of when the car was supposedly "fixed" Headliner ripped (which they damaged) They also broke the plastic cover for the seat belt and the plastic piece near the floor board. noticeable misalignment of doors, ect. Anyone with half a brain can see that the car was not fixed nor ready to be released just by the pictures alone. You should have seen it in person. Had to take my car back 2 more times after these photos were taken to have the damage they caused fixed and also another attempt of the door being aligned. Again, go elsewhere!

Patricia Carter Visited this place in June 2017 to have my ac system evacuated. I was given a quote to the a/c repair and also added to the quote was a quote to have the water pump changed because they said it was bad and best to get them both done at the same time. I declined the work. Well it’s been almost 8 years several trip up and down the grapevine car has still had no issues. I’m sure if the water pump was really bad it would have over heated by now. But I’m just a woman there’s no way I know anything about cars. This is why I don’t trust shops. I’ve always had bad experiences.

Briar Ridge I really don’t know where to start. Dealing with this company was a complete and utter disaster. Brought a 2015 Panamera in for 3 different things. 1. Oil Change. 2. Diagnose why check engine light was on. 3. Fuel lid not working properly. Sat down in office with Shane to discuss. Signed an estimate that he wouldn’t exceed $500.00 without prior approval. Next day at work I received a text that had 3 repairs. 1. Oil change $189.00 that I accepted. 2. Fuel door and check engine light. Which was due to O2 sensor not working because of fuel lid issue. The total was $1100.00!! I declined everything except oil change. I talked to him on phone later that day. Said as a teacher I couldn’t afford that much. His response was I would need to pay $600.00 for the diagnostics. Which is odd, because I declined those jobs. So I’m the end I paid $500.00 for an oil change. Terrible communication and very misleading.

jose ramos Brought my bmw z4 here because it didn’t pass smog due to several codes. Shane looked it over and was able to get the issues fixed. He could have charged me but he didn’t because he said he just had to reset a few codes and the car was fine. He had me come back a few days later so that he can scan it to ensure that it would pass smog. I went back a week later and sure enough it was ready for smog and passed. This really won me over, hard to find honest mechanics that won’t rip you off or one that wouldn’t have charged atleast for their time regardless of how easy the fix was. I also needed my AC repaired so it was a no brainer to come back and have him do the work for me. Hopefully I wont need his services anytime soon but if I do I wont hesitate to give him my business. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good mechanic and an honest one that won’t rip you off.

Sevag Khederian Came in for a clutch job, flywheel was warped before, warped when I left with a new clutch. A few months later I realize it’s the thrower bearing, not the belt or tensioner squeaking, and I ask for warranty. Moses tells me it’s been more than three months and he’ll have to charge to replace it. I wouldn’t recommend this shop to my enemy.

Steve Klima Doug and Triple A Automotive are awesome! As my wife and I were driving home to Los Angeles from Yosemite with our trailer in tow, my truck had a major breakdown. We were in Coarsegold on a Friday afternoon, and most auto shops couldn’t even look at the car for at least a week. As we were waiting for a tow truck, one of my wife’s friends recommended that we try Doug and Triple A Automotive. I called Doug, told him the situation, and he said that he couldn’t look at it until Monday morning but that I should bring it in. On Monday morning, I had the truck towed to his shop and left it there for Doug to work his magic. It wasn’t an easy fix, but the entire time Doug was always communicating with me and letting me know what they were going to do to get my truck back on the road. It took a few weeks, but that was mainly due to issues with parts. I finally got my truck back, drove it back to L.A., and even took another long road-trip with it this past weekend and it is as good as it ever was. I have a local mechanic that I trust and have been going to for years in Los Angeles. Now I have another mechanic that I trust in Clovis! If I lived closer, Doug and Triple A Automotive would be my go-to. Communication was awesome throughout and Doug was honest and forthright with his estimates and what they planned on doing to get my truck back on the road. Highly recommended!

Jessica J I cant say enough about Doug and Triple A. Ive always trusted my dad to fix my cars until I moved 3 hours away and it just isnt feasible anymore. A coworker recommended Doug and Im so thankful! Ive taken my vehicles there for probably 15 years. He goes above and beyond on every job. Doug will even call my dad to go over repairs and discuss possible fixes. Ive referred several friends and they have all been very happy as well. Jonathan Sadie Doug and Nathan are the best combo. My truck needed a lot of work, they took a while but was worth it. Their communication wasn’t that great throughout the process but nonetheless they are extremely trustworthy and made my truck run great.

Mark Pittenger Paul was great! He did everything he could to clearly communicate and get me out on time. Please do not take this as a mark against Paul, my only feedback is that I waited a long time to get checked. I believe this is because they were short staffed and had a very busy day. But other than that, Paul did great And the price was great because of the coupon.

Barak Davidian Im the same age as Terry and I had a dune buggy when I was 17 back in the day. (1970s) I decided it was time to get another dune buggy and I found one over on the coast and went by his shop to see if he would rent me a tow bar. He took down my license and just loaned me one. (no charge) That was my first experience with him. While I know quite a bit about bugs, alas... things have changed in 40 years and there are a lot more cool things you can do than in the past. Terry has given me invaluable knowledge. For example, I wanted disc breaks and he supplied me with rotors that had a Chevy bolt pattern so I didnt need adapters for my new wheels I bought. I got so used to DIY through Youtube and kind of lost the personal touch you get from someone local. I feel fortunate to have someone nearby with the knowledge he has, and Im having a blast fixing up my ride!

Jeremy Ruiz If i can give O starts I would I went to Burnetts in clovis talked with Terry the owner took my car in for repairs paid around 2k in repairs to check my wiring which was all new already and all was done was an electric ignition and a new starter more damage was done to my car than repairs they put not only one scratch but two major scratches and the main thing is they put a dent on my deck lid/trunk well putting something to prop it open well working. If i could post pics I would it is the honest truth. They did not tell me the damage was done when I picked my car up good thing I checked out my car and take alot of pictures b4 you take it I called Terry explained the situation he than offered to pay me $350 instead of fixing the damage they caused because he said yes we may have done it I did not want any money I just wanted my car fixed how it was they are very overpriced, unprofessional, careless the mechanics he gots their not sure what he pays them obviously not enough they are very careless dont care about ur car the shop looks cool upon walking up you see alot of vws which I thought it was a good shop until you see the inside of it and see how people really are go check out the ppl working on ur car prior and see the Profesionalism were it is for urself very unorganized and all over the place. My suggestion to you if you do decide to take your car their do your research on the parts you need price match call around check out other shops. This is not the only Vw mechanic in town. Dont think they are the only ones like I did and end up in a situation like me. I am not one to complain however I am a very dissatisfied with the end result you should feel happy upon getting ur car back from the repair shop however this was a horrible experience for me please be mindful about selecting this place.
