Carlos Fernandez I order a part for my car on a Thursday and went to go buy it and they told me that by Friday the next day it would be ready and when I went go pick it up they weren’t even open. They put up a sign that they were in lunch from 9:30am that I was there to 11:30am. I can back at that time and nothing was opened and it was a Friday where they are suppose to be open.

Stephanie Boehnlein When my husband and I broke down, we were hauling our fifth wheel and needed a tow and a new clutch in our truck. We were in a huge bind and thankfully happened upon Calexico Auto Dismantlers. We could not be happier with Pablo and his company. He was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, patient personable and just all around great guy. Pricing was upfront, transparent and extremely fair. If there was an example of how a business should be run, this is it. Pablo even called after our repair and our long drive back to San Diego to make sure we were happy with the repair and made it home safely. We truly wish we could give Calexico Auto Dismantlers more than five stars. What an great business with superior customer service. If you get a chance to use them for anything- you won’t regret it.

After the service they followed up with me the next week to see how my truck was performing. I couldn’t have been happier.

Beth Rush We called this company around 6 pm to have our diesel RV diagnosed and possibly repaired after our check engine light came on and we were experiencing a loss of power.We called this company Calexico Mobile Truck Repair, apparently they are simply a dispatcher service who then contacts other company’s to do the actual work . We were billed by a company named Premier Break down solutions. ( which we were not aware of the company being just a broker /dispatcher at the time ) They offered us to come out that evening within 2 hours but since it was dark already we said No what time can you make it tomorrow. They stated first thing in the morning . We were in Glamis at that time and were fine with them coming out first thing in the morning . They charged us over the phone $1114.00 which was travel fees, minimum hourly rate and a dispatch fee. We paid it that evening . After sitting there all day they finally showed up around 3 in the afternoon. They sent 2 men who seemed nice but didn’t speak any English. They stated that the coolant was low and asked if we had any because they did not , luckily we did have coolant. They did put it in for us , not that we needed them to. They then had to call another man who spoke some English very broken and hard to understand English who told us that there was nothing else they could do and stated that it was a low pressure fuel problem . My husband then looked over it after speaking with our local mechanic in AZ and decided to change the 2 fuel filters. When doing this he discovered a vacuum line broken in half . By this time we already had the 2 new fuel filters and he also purchased supplies to repair the vacuum line . The vacuum line repair items cost my husband $2.83 !! When we sent pictures and spoke to our mechanic in AZ he couldn’t believe that they didn’t find the broken vacuum line , and stated there was no reason except incompetent mechanics and it should have never cost $1114.00 !! I wish I could give them negative stars!! I would advise not using either of these companies if you ever find yourself stranded in this area !! Total rip off !!

Mark Adams They only do semi trucks and they are good, Ive had them working on my semis coming in and out of Mexico often for the last year or so. Not cheap but best service Ive gotten in the area.

Abel Araujo Maybe my experience at this pepboys was anecdotal, I arrived just after opening and had 3 cars ahead of me for oil change. I figured how long could it take since its just an oil change, 3hrs later my car was still not done. I noticed the 2nd time I asked about my car all the mechanics were inside just chilling and when I ask the manager about why are these men not working on the vehicles his response was its hot outside mind you they work inside the shop. Poor leadership on behalf of manager Fernando Martinez, I strongly suggest the company sends Mr Martinez to some training classes on managing and soft skills. I for one will never return. And he lost a 1k tire sale with me guess ill take my business somewhere else.

Daniel Cortes This was my go to place for my oil service and inspections. At 3:30 pm on 12/19 I disconnected my truck and trailer so they could start the oil change on my truck. I had plans to go walking to the Planet Fitness that was close by. I told them before hand they had access to my keys to move the truck and not to let anyone in my sleeper or let cops/police inside. Since they were following me around for the past two weeks after an argument with my wife that lives in Mexicali. In the sleeper I had organized things in certain places in case that occurrence would occur, with the sleeper blinds closed. I went on with my walk to the gym. I returned to their yard around 6-6:30 pm and they hadn’t even started on the oil change. First thing I did was check my sleeper, noticed my blinds slit slightly opened. When I opened up I noticed those certain items were mixed at different spots in the sleeper. I called them out on it. Both guys in the office and the mechanic doing the service were trembling and very quiet to talk. One of the guys was trying to sway me away from the topic by asking about my weight loss. Bro I hit the gym hard. I kept mouthing off to them, why they would not listen to my demands. The mechanic’s voice was shaking, because I was right. I’m guessing they let the police inside to inspect my sleeper. I know it’s a private property, but I did not let them have access to the sleeper. They were looking for something to pin me on or could’ve planted anything. Microphones/Cameras without my knowledge. Could use anything for blackmail such as knowledge of medication I’m taking, which they don’t need to know about. Called the Calexico police and they didn’t do anything. Called Highway Patrol and they recommended to drive off from the yard and if there were anything to occur to just call 911 for an emergency. I know my rights and that was an unwarranted search if so. It’s a border town, and anything can happen with criminal organizations or the police themselves. Border Patrol has there vehicles serviced there, so I know they are not going to help me either. Just be wary of this place. I did not pay $120 so these guys can rummage through my personal things. Now my life is in even more threat/danger/stress than it already is. Take your services elsewhere people. This place is shady.

George Marquez I definitely recommend this place even to just take a look at anything you dont understand about cars or trucks and he is the man to ask especially if your planning to go into Mexico or take a long trip stop by the shop and he will help yall out just like he did for my car. I got an oil change and a tune up and also checked the suspension and brakes out to see how its going. Besides that lets not talk about the price cause its the cheapest Ive payed ever to get my car serviced and checked. I will be going back to get new shocks put on my car.

tony tejeda If you dont want to have a bad experience, dont go to this place. Its terrible service. And the mechanics are inexperienced. It only took him over 7 hours to change a starter motor, and to top it off, it wasnt even the batteries. Then he didnt want to change the batteries anymore. Bad service and no hesitation. Here are his comments. Of what. I have to be grateful if Im paying for something he doesnt know how to do. If you dont want to go through this, dont waste your time going to this crappy mechanic!!!!!
