Yaco Sanchez The best mechanic shop ever!! They always fix my cars, even when no one else can figure out the issue. I take all of my cars there. They provide quality service and excellent customer service. They are so nice even with any questions I may have. I am totally thankful for all the help they provide me over the years and never take advantage of me with pricing, even though I am a female customer. The prices are always reasonable and fair. I moved far away but still brings my cars in for service because they are worth it!! Again, I am forever grateful to them for always helping me!! Thank you!! :)

Tj Sykes I’ve been going to Auto- Matic Repair since I moved to Vallejo in 2020. The service is good and the prices are reasonable. They recently replaced my water pump. My car been riding smoother since.

christine mckinley I know that when I take my car into their shop it will get the attention it deserves. I have taken both my Jeep and Volkswagen in and they always had the work done quickly and at a reasonable price. They are honest and want to get you back on the road safely.

Nick Young My vans emission monitors dont reset well after losing battery power and that was the situation I was in. I called a bunch of local shops and they all kept telling me to keep driving it around when in the past that didnt work. The only thing that worked was OCM performing a drive cycle on their dynamo. So thats when I called them and explained the situation, and no questions asked or telling me to keep driving it, just bring it in and theyll handle it. Great customer service. They had the monitors ready and the van smogged in less than 6 hours on a Saturday, which surprised me. I hope I dont have to bring it in again, but if I do I wont even bother with the other places and go straight to OCM.

Racene Jones As a walk in Smog request on a Saturday I was in and out in under 30 minutes! Great service, pricing and still impressed at how quickly I was seen!

Rob Schmidt Keith was knowledgeable and professional. He rebuilt my radiator with quality American parts for less than a cheap aftermarket, foreign replacement. His job re-coring my radiator was top notch and he provided excellent advice on other issues at no cost. Plus, hes a nice guy. Highly recommended for work on classic vehicles.

Gabriel Cregar One thing I do you have to say about Keith at Novato radiator if I could give them a 20 star review I would his work is top-notch especially for the older radiators are copper and brass he does it right the old-school way. Done right the first time. If youre looking for quality this is the guy you want working on your stuff extremely knowledgeable.

Albert La Spina Ive been taking my vehicles to Mathews and Sons for over ten years. I tend to drive older vehicles with high miles. Once they go through them, they run problem free for years. Money well spent there. Honest as the day is long. Stand by their work. Excellent advice, including when something is not really worth fixing. I would recommend them any time.

Carlos Rocha Recently I took my mothers mobility van to Mathews & Son for electrical work.. my experience was very professional.. they told me when I could bring the van in and about how long it would take to fix (if the part where available) .. they exceeded my expectations on all counts..they kept me informed on the progress of the repair and it was done by the next day...not only that, electrical can be very expensive.. i was more than happy with the final bill.!..they were always extremely nice and always willing to answer questions... I would recommend them to anyone for vehicle repair work..its hard to find good automotive repair shops that you feel you can trust. Ive found one that I do and will be a loyal customer for years to come..I think anyone would feel the same if you take your repair to Mathews & Sons...Thanks again M&S.!!

Kevin B Fred is honest and has stood behind his work. My review is long overdue, I have been coming here for about 15 years with various vehicles. He has worked on my Mercedes Cl65, Cadillac, two Hondas, Nissan 350z, Infiniti g37, Lincoln town car, Expedition, Dodge Dakota and will be working on anything I get in the future. He has saved me so much money over the years and has been honest and fair priced. Most of the services I do here are maintenance, like brakes, coolant flushes, belts, plugs, oil changes, AC charge and a few other here and there things. Best local shop hands down Ive been to. Family business feeling, most locals know him well. If you havent been to him yet, give him a try.

Niyah Benson Mauricio was very kind to me and well educated which made me feel comfortable. I was struggling to find a trustworthy mechanic but he definitely is! Before even doing the inspection he knew exactly why my check engine light was on and fixed the issue within 2 hours for a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend him if you’re in the 707 area

David Stevenson Took my truck to Thorsson’s for an oxidation fix on the hood and top of cab. They did a FANTASTIC JOB! Out of the three appraisals I got, theirs was the honest one. I was very grateful for the honesty and information they gave. It’s really nice to see that there are still people out there like that. So, if you need work done, everyone I encountered there was extremely nice, helpful and honest. Give them a try, you won’t be sorry.

Josh Bernstein Ive been going to Thorssons for years! Unfortunately Ive had quite a few accidents. I think Ive actually used thorssons probably around 5 times. Im a big fan. Phil and Theresa are always on top of it. The quality of work is first class. They gave me a free tow from Hayward to Novato when my car was not able to drive. I highly suggest coming year because they treat you right. Not many shops like this around anymore. Thanks Thorssons!

Phoenix R I had an unexpected rapid tire going flat right & accidentally pulled up here when I found out they dont do tires. I had a gentleman still assist me by filling my air, finding the source (which was this huge nail), & then found a temporary patch to go over the hole. Such kindness & quick diligence!! David Gonzalez Took my cluster to this spot and he took about a week to repair due to ordering parts. After I picked it up he said " I guarantee it will work" Got home and put it In my car and the cluster was having more issues compared to before the repair was done. I called him and he said he didnt know anything and that it could be my car. Fast forward to today. I sent it out to a website called UpFix.com and they told me there were no errors, but they could still do a rebuild and they did and now it is working fine. I believe what happened is he put the cluster on his machine and didnt see any errors and he figured he didnt have to do any actual work on it. Not only did I pay him $370 but I also had to commute all the way to him. If I could give 0 starts I definitely would as this person is not an honest business owner.

Deshona Barnett Too many negative reviews here. Before my boyfriend passed, Tom would fix all of the cars that he brought in. I even took my car in one time to get the alternator fixed and he also replaced the battery giving my car radio and camera system back. I didn’t even know that’s all I needed! He’s excellent and he didn’t even charge me extra. I highly recommend.
