aq xin Had Omogari on my to-try for the longest time and finally got to visit for a weekend dinner. Had a 10min wait and we were seated inside! The interior is warm and inviting and service is great. We ordered the kimchi stew, bulgogi, and pork rib fondue. Our favorite was the bulgogi with its good meat quality, tender/juicy bite, and authentic flavor. Would recommend if youre in the area and craving some good Korean food! Parking: it was easy for us despite it being weekend dinner in JTown; we also appreciated the free street parking on Sundays.

Carl Foisy Since the day this place opened. It has been a delight. Definitely on the list of some of the best happy hour in downtown San Jose. Consistency is king and with this spot consistency is on point. Everything from the sticky ribs to their warm burrata cheese, the food is great. I understand there. Chef is very talented and is indeed keeping the bar high. Happy hour drinks are a good deal, and if you get there early enough, you can find a seat at the bar or outside on the covered patio. I’m glad they’ve survived and are still doing great things.

Chuck Freeman This place offers it all of your a BBQ fan! The brisket, beans, corn bread and side Cesar salad was my choice today and Carla was my waitress. Very friendly and tentative. If you want Cheap BBQ, dont come here because good BBQ aint Cheap and and Cheap BBQ aint good. $40 for the LG brisket plate with mixed fat/lean with the premium side. Worth it!

v l I just have to say, Original Joes is one of the last great restaurants of Downtown San Jose! With that being said, I keep ordering the steak & sausage rigatoni because I love the taste of the sauce! Its so flavorful & forfilling of a warm beautiful dinner. Im only guessing that its a cooked down red wine, but, what do I know? I know I love to eat, I love eating here & my family does too! Thank you so very much for a wonderful evening! Well be back. Gabby Gonzalez This was a fantastic place! Upon entering it’s a beautifully decorated restaurant bar & very inviting when you enter the doors. Greeted & seated immediately, we were there around 1pm for lunch. The menu had so many good choices it was hard to pick. We got the buttermilk ribs for an appetizer & omg I wanted another plate right after we finished them. They just fell off the bone & were fried to perfection. The sauce it comes with was a nice pairing as well. Then we got a burger, again, cooked to perfection & had nice toppings for it as well, the pickled onions was a nice touch. Loves this place & I will definitely be back for those buttermilk ribs!!

Joseph Gomez Best Southern-style comfort food in San Jose. Everything we tried was outstanding, Uncle Greg’s ribs are hands down the best I’ve had in a very long time. Tender, flavorful, smoky, took me straight to my childhood backyard barbecue with family. The collard greens were seasoned just right, the candied yams hit that sweet spot, and the hot link sausages were full of flavor with just the right kick. The brisket was good too, but if I had to choose between the brisket and the ribs, I’d go ribs all day long. This is good, soulful cooking that feels like love on a plate. Jackie’s Place makes you feel like you’re eating at the family cookout

Z D (Daniella Bella) It was our first time here, celebrating our friend’s 60th Birthday! Parking lot is really small but not much land to make it bigger. Arrive 15-20 minutes early of your reservation to get parking. Atmosphere was amazing, Entry Bar & Lounge with Live music was Beautiful and perfect. Our server was Amazing, professional with a sense of humor ( perfect for us). Everything is definitely pricey but All of our food & drinks were Delicious and we got to meet the chef, hard worker. All staff were wonderful and pleasant. Overall experience definitely a 5 star and will be returning in the future, maybe in summertime when we can actually enjoy the view.

Yoon Lee Had a wonderful Brazilian steakhouse experience at Fogo de Chão. Even with a reservation, we still had to wait a bit because it gets very busy. The service was great. Our server, Julian, was friendly, attentive, and easy on the eyes✨ The meat servers came around more often than I expected, and there was a great variety of cuts, which was a big plus. The salad bar, on the other hand, felt a bit underwhelming compared to the meats. A little insider tip: buying a gift card from Costco makes the meal much more affordable. I was slightly embarrassed using it at checkout, but the staff was totally cool about it. Parking was easy at a nearby garage, and it’s a perfect spot to walk around Santana Row after a big meal.

Shannon W Oh my goodness!!! This place is my new favorite local gem! The atmosphere alone is a reason worth going! I came here on a whim because I wanted to get a carryout. While standing there I had some help with what to chose from the menu and got invited to join a lovely table of amazing people including Jay the owner. Amazing human beings here and I wish I lived locally to come here more! The music is a great experience and the food is soo good! Highly recommend the crawfish pasta and jambalaya. I got to learn the history of this restaurant which was so fascinating. Definitely stop by for a good time!

bhanu khera Loved the food! Definitely the best South Indian food I’ve had in the Bay Area. I’ll absolutely be returning. The staff is super friendly and warm. Even though there was a long waitlist, they kept serving complimentary upma while we waited, which was such a nice touch :) I really loved the vibe of the place. We ordered the ghee podi dosa, medu vada, filter coffee, and mini idlis. Everything was great except the mini idlis, which were just okay compared to the rest. Overall, totally worth the wait!
