Highly Recommended 14 Dinner Restaurants Near Napa, California

Abdul Hawasli Stopped by the Oxmo Public Market around the same time on a Monday afternoon and it was not busy at all. It felt cozy and comfortable, making it a nice place to walk through without feeling rushed. There was plenty to look at and enjoy, and the overall vibe felt relaxed and intimate. On a day like today, parking was available, though I am not sure how it is on busier days. There is also street parking nearby. For those with kids, the restroom has a changing table, which was appreciated.

Duane Caldwell I visited this Gotts location on Saturday as a guest for a private catered event sponsored by MINI of Berkeley. We had perfect weather out on the patio, and while Im a longtime fan of Gotts Roadside locations around the Bay Area, I was blown away by this experience. The appetizers and buffet service were hot and tasty, and the servers were incredibly friendly and helpful. The most amazing thing to me was this all happened during Gotts lunch rush on a weekend day with typical long lines of walk-in customers keeping the kitchen staff hopping. My hat is off in deep respect and appreciation for the management and all staff at this location. Thank you for a memorable catered event at the Oxbow Public Market in Napa!

Kate Gunn We came here for our 5 year wedding anniversary because we wanted a nice romantic dinner and this was such a good choice. It is such a charming spot, so many twinkle lights in the night, which I love. We sat outside on the covered patio and even though it was very cold outside, we were quite warm with their heaters. Our server was very kind and attentive. I just returned from a vacation in Italy and I was nervous about eating Italian food in America again especially because I am gluten sensitive, but their gluten free pasta was incredible, perfectly cooked and delicious. That eith the Veal parmesana was to die for. My husband got the lamb shank which he enjoyed but he admitted he liked my veal better. We had their signature butterscotch pudding at the recommendation of our server, which was not bad - not what I expected but it was very rich and deep almost, what felt like notes of espresso and vanilla bean. And my husband had their pistachio gelato which he enjoyed. I cant wait to go back, that veal parmesana is still rolling around in my mind :)

Jason Pribush I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for a bit now and i am happy to have finally dined here. My pork chop was quite delicious with the mustard dressing and mashed potatoes. The restaurant is located in a beautiful area. Staff was good and checked in on us several times throughout our meal. I’m definitely going to be returning to try a new menu item.

Jar Concengco So glad we found this spot. Friends and I had a great brunch and of course had their bucket of fresh donuts. I had their chilaquiles - wonderful! Service was fast and friendly. And the building’s barn red paint is unmissable. Would gladly come back!

matthew mamsaang Located in downtown Napa, the restaurant is situated near most of the shops and other eateries. Parking was easy to find. The building itself was beautiful and very inviting. The menu was pretty extensive with a soup/dish special of the day. They also have a decent variety of wines to choose from; both imported and domestic. Our server was very nice and always came by our table to make sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who want to take their date out, or just those who want to have good quality italian food.

Kelsey Kunda Such incredible food! Morimoto was one of our absolute favorite meals in Napa. My husband ordered the chef’s tasting menu and loved every single course — especially the nigiri, which he said was the best sushi he’s ever had. I ordered a Cosmopolitan (delicious), the gyoza (the best I’ve ever eaten), the braised cod (buttery and perfect), and the sorbet flight (refreshing and light). The portions were spot-on for a tasting-style meal. Service was great, the restaurant was beautiful and clean, and the bathrooms were easy to find. Our only complaint was the noise level — it was very loud, and we found ourselves raising our voices to talk. Overall, though, it was a fantastic dining experience and we will definitely be back. Delicious food, attentive service, and truly memorable dishes!

Carolyn M The picture doesn’t do it justice - the half chicken was huge! The skin so crispy and the meat so tender. Bread & butter pickles are just as advertised - the best pickles I’ve ever had. The corn bread is the BEST corn bread ever - too good to even get a picture. The slider trio was wonderful and the meat just melts in your mouth. The restaurant is super nice and even the ceiling tiles have engraved patterns. The staff is just wonderful.

Oliver Yang Had an amazing lunch here on our way to our wine tasting. We got seated right away and our server was very nice to us. They had us move right after we had gotten seated to accommodate a larger party which was fine by me. They were very nice about it. We ordered the chilaquiles, burger, and corn bread (delicious!) which were all super yummy.

Lisa Stone We had such a wonderful dinner here the other night and enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The outside patio was really nice. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Citrus Habanero Organic Chicken. It was flavorful, tender, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. The veggies were also excellent, fresh, and cooked to perfection. We also tried the ribeye which was sooo good and the cheesy garlic bread. We decided to try the mac and cheese, but it turned out to be a bit too oily for our taste, so we’ll probably skip that one next time. That said, everything else we ordered was absolutely fantastic, and we left feeling very satisfied. Overall, it was a great evening with delicious food, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again soon.

Randy L Loved it!!! I prefer ribeye over strip steak but the waygu strip was way better than the Angus ribeye. The ribeye was great but trying the wagyu knocked it down a few notches. The Au gratin potatoes were excellent as well! Highly recommend reservations. We waited a while to get seated at the bar and ate our meal at the bar as well.

Piyush Tandon Lovely vibe for tapas and drinks. Outdoor patio is dog friendly with heaters for cold evening. Tried a number of dishes like Asian pear salad, Chicken croquettes, Flatiron steak and Apple empanada.

Jayasimha Nuggehalli Visited here for lunch. Restaurant has seating inside and outside. Restaurant has nice decor. We ordered chicken kebab with soup, salad and chickpea rice and also a Greek salad. Service was excellent, food was delicious too. Chocolate flavored baklava was also tasty.

Tresa St. Hill Amazing food and great atmosphere. This restaurant was a nice sit down for an evening of good eats. We enjoyed it outside, on the covered patio, where theres plenty of room and multiple sections for large parties or to accommodate large numbers of restaurant guests. The nights special was amazing and extremely flavorful. Will definitely be going back!!
