Sticky Rice Chinese Bistro & Bar - Fairfield (CA)

3 /5 Nick Crosson: I really want to give sticky rice a higher rating as I do believe it is a decent restaurant. That being said... Im frustrated as a customer when I order any fried dish (sweet n sour, orange chicken, etc) and it comes out of the kitchen slathered in sauce and soggy as a bowl of oatmeal. Is it too much to ask for chicken to be fried to order and tossed immediately thereafter so it arrives at my table crispy? This to me is the difference between a great restaurant and a average one. I never mind waiting longer if my food comes out as though it was freshly made.

5 /5 Shawn Crisp: I ordered the Pot Stickers, Basil Chicken, and Combination Fried Rice. Potstickers had a nice browned bottom, though a few felt a little doughy. They were still good and Id recommend them. I have never had Basil Chicken, but other reviewers suggested this dish, and its an excellent choice. Very flavorful. The combination fried rice was good, but the Basil chicken is where its at. Ended the meal with the vanilla ice cream. Very nice restaurant and staff. Highly recommend.

1 /5 Probio Yobi: Too many onions in every dish. It’s ridiculous. The lo mein had more onions than noodles and the Mongolian beef today had close to a pound of onions and scallions. The scallions were raw. Little bit of beef. Not going back. Very poor quality. DO NOT recommend it!

5 /5 Eisha Campbell-Lowman: This place has excellent appetizers. We ordered so many we could hardly eat our entrée. But the seafood nest was delicious

4 /5 Rachael Smiley: Very nice atmosphere. Indoor /outdoor but they dont always allow you to go outdoors. Which is one of their great features because there is a beautiful water fountain outside. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Now the food is excellent. But pricey. Their servings are big and we always over order . I would highly recommend the minced chicken lettuce wraps. They are delicious. Cherry and Lemon chicken are amazing. Overall a wonderful place to eat with beautiful features and atmosphere. So I give Sticky Rice Chinese Bistro 4 1/2 stars out of 5. Mrs Smiley
